I hope she will answer asap.
I don't recall when Kimi and Atmon showed up for FC2, but they were very active until DLC dropped then they vanished. UbiTim was around about a year before FC3 released.
Glad you got a response tho...hope UbiMegan is fulltime here now.
Hi UbiMegan, can you please answer my question about hosting custom maps in multiplayer? Will it work like FC2 or FC3? I'm not asking for specifics, just a confirmation that we can host our maps in a public browser like FC2. Thanks
It would make all us mappers very happy to hear that we will get a fc2 style lobby system. it's the No1 askOriginally Posted by x_maxpower Go to original post![]()
You rang?
First off - I am not a ComDev (sorry!). I am a Community Manager, which fulfills a fundamentally different role. The reason I haven't been active on the forums (and the reason why it might be a little difficult for me to answer your questions) is because I'm still in what's affectionately known as the "transitional period". What's a transitional period? Well, it means that until rather recently I was still somewhat responsible for my previous project (The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot) as I was slowly but surely introduced to my new, and much (much) larger title Far Cry 4.
I'm still getting familiar with all the tools, responsibilities, people and project I will be working on for now into the foreseeable future, so I've been playing "least in sight" until I (and my bosses) feel I can effectively do my job. This may take a few more weeks, but you will be seeing more of me (and I will be in a position to better answer your questions) in the near future. In the meantime, xMiisty and Mr_Shade will also be on hand to help out.
Hope that answers some of your concerns (or at the very least, my lack of proper answers :P)
Thanks!
Its good to see a Community Manager replying :P
UbiMegan, I'm really hoping that when the Far Cry Community have any issues or concerns - that those concerns are passed to the relevant people by yourself, and that we get timely feedback from you regarding those concerns.
At the minute - I think the most important issue that our mapping community is craving, is about how, as players, we can host a list of our created maps in multiplayer. Any info regarding this will put alot of guys minds to rest.
