I have been thinking about preordering the Far cry 4 Kyrat Edition but i am wondering if it comes with the season pass. Where ever i look, they just talk about the other contents and not the actually the game. The Gold Edition comes with the season pass but the Kyrat Edition says nothing about it. Does anyone know if the Kyrat Edition comes with the season pass?
The Kyrat Edition doesn't come with the Season Pass. It's meant to be a collectors set. The way Ubi has been doing things for some time now is the Season Pass comes in the Gold Edition, then they have a collector's type edition, and a Limited Edition that contains in game extras but not collectibles or Season Pass.
This is clever marketing. If they offered everything in one set, they wouldn't be able to get some of the gotta have it addicts buy more than one version. Besides, as far as I know the Season Pass can always be bought separately and usually goes for about $20. That said, so far the Season Pass and the unmentioned DLC it contains has only been listed for consoles at GameStop, and for $30. I have no doubt it will be available on PC too though. It's just that GameStop would rather only mention console stuff, esp this kind of thing.
If you want to buy the Kyrat Edition with the season pass pre-order it here http://shop.ubi.com/
It is called Ultimate Kyrat Edition, you will have the season pass and an exclusive metal box.
Yeah vG247 has an article about it, but Ubi's store only shows the Limited Edition anymore.Originally Posted by xRaDRoacHx Go to original post

Maybe they ran out of them.
Well that's weird, how can they ran out of them if the game is not even out? :POriginally Posted by Frag_Maniac Go to original post
Maybe they will be available again later, I can't access to the us shop, but in the eu shop they are still available.
The whole point of limited editions, regardless what they're called, is that they're limited so peeps have to preorder to get them. It can also be hard to foresee how many copies to have made, esp since popularity of 4th gen and beyond sequels can have hit and miss success.Originally Posted by xRaDRoacHx Go to original post
