I was maintaining our act, (I think it's an act cause I <3 you, Blue) of dislike/animosity for each other by giving you crap. I see now that I have upset you, and I would like to take this opportunity to apologize.



JUST KIDDING! I left my ice in a cooler for 24 hours. The ice actually FROZE BACK TOGETHER. There were two bags of ice, which is a bit more than 40 ice cubes. And can I go ahead and reiterate that it was a COOLER. Not some little Baby goes to the beach sand pail. :P

Now, because you made me feel bad for 2 seconds, I feel the need to share:

You wore layers. If you would like to get all scientific about "thermal equilibrium" and whatnot, lets look at some fairly basic science.

Fact #1: Multiple layers work as insulation, which is the whole point of wearing multiple layers.

Fact #2: If you quickly pour liquid over layers, the amount of permeation is highly decreased by each additional layer. The thicker the outside layer, the less liquid will be absorbed by subsequent layers.

Fact #3: Each layer is warmed by body heat the closer that the layer is to your core.

Fact #4: If you are already cold, then dumping cold water on yourself doesn't cause the rapid temperature shock that it does when it is hot out.

Therefore, we are left with the following scientific conclusion;

I was wearing a t-shirt and hoodie for mine, 15ltrs of water and 45 ice cubes. I didn't really feel the cold for about 3 seconds but had attributed it to the punch in the nuts I took just prior to the soaking.

Katamari's still a fanny btw, might have to change my nomination to someone else soon if he don't man up.

All that science text about cold from a guy who came here in november wearing summer clothes. I distinctly remember who was blue that night, the conditions hit you like thousand ice buckets.
