CannibalShogun actually posted his selected charities. I did not.

I am, however, donating to Special Effect in the UK (because they are awesome), as well as Child's Play (as they are awesome as well).

Special Effect helps to give children (and adults) with disabilities a way to play with their friends and families in ways that usually aren't possible. It's an amazing group of people who, with a little help, can touch thousands of lives.

ALS is a horrible disease, I'm not saying that it isn't, but there are so many worthy charities that haven't had a viral campaign to latch onto. There are millions and millions of people in need across the world. I'm not going to tell you who to give your money to, or who is worthy of your donation. Everything from needing a prosthetic, to simple items such as food and water. That's up to you, find something that you can get behind. If you are able to put off grabbing Destiny or Minecraft for a few weeks, or Trials Fusion, and can instead give that money to a charity of your choosing... It might not be much, but your donations can make an impact on someone's life.

Also, as this is a serious post, and a serious discussion, I will allow Badger to "win" and I will bow out.

The girl's smile won me over. Just decided to donate to them. Those kids deserve every bit of accommodation to help them enjoy the passion for gaming.
