Windowed mode performance issue | Forums

Hello

I have issues with windowed mode performing badly.
As I enjoy speedrunning the game time to time, I need to have it on, otherwise I cannot split my timer.

Issues:

With windows aero theme on I get random stuttering.

With windows basic theme on my screen tears like hell (even with forced v-sync through nvidia control panel), otherwise it runs perfect.


None of these issues exist in fullscreen mode, regardless what theme I am using.


Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K
GPU: 2048MB Palit GeForce GTX 680
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600
Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Gene Intel Z77

I also have 2 monitors

I rarely come on here to shed light on things but it's about time
My love for the game and the people who work hard at redlynx is very high but recently the performance is very bad

A thing to note: with Fusion, make sure you got nothing else fullscreened ( browsers, other programs, anything ) and absolutely no video, even paused, anywhere. Fusion kills itself when you got any kind of video open anywhere.
