It's not because we don't do it that we ignore Also, looks like I answered quite quickly on the thread... should be a sign we don't ignore.

And tracks are handled by Ubi's servers, not RedLynx anymore. So saying RL is ignoring the community is wrong. RL passes their concerns along to their bosses, who in turn have to work with Microsoft or Sony, to police content on their networks. That is my understanding of it based on posts here & there so it's really just a guess.
Bad guess. We do what we want with servers, we don't pass anything to anyone.

And to answer several messages above: Yes, there will be improvements for TC continuously.

The funny thing about making any "suggestions", is it's basically useless. As long as everyone knows we're just speaking among ourselves...it's all good. Maybe a year or even 2 before Fusion, there were tons and tons of great ideas for Fusion and about 3...maybe 4 ideas were listened to. Dead trees in the editor and custom feeds on TC were 2 of them
They fixed the replay issue too

Joking aside, the thread was something like 40 PAGES of very good insight into the next game, that being Fusion. It shows how little a company listens to the hardcore fans. RL used to be that company actually, until they sold out. I'm sure there heart is still in it, but they don't make the calls anymore....as this even needs to be said. No Ubilynx employee will ever come on the thread and blast the people who write their paycheck, so don't expect anyone validating the above.

Fusion is actually a pretty solid game, but basic oversights on TC hurt the continual enthusiasm. The dlc's have been quite fun, but a little sparse in tracks....stated by all.
Much like the Tony Hawk series...companies keep adding more and more areas to a game, where it simply is not needed. Just improve gameplay, graphics, implementation of user tracks into the core game...that's all that needs to be done. The challenges, tricks, skill games are pointless...at least to me, but I'm HARDCORE!!

You're one of very few who post here from the company and I don't doubt that you guys care about the game. However, there are obvious things present that haven't been addressed....easy fixes.
I'm not speaking about coding issues or multiplayer, though it's funny how this may take 6 months post launch with 2 dlcs out already. Basic things, as I mentioned "Featured" section in TC, RL picks section. Nothing has been done there, nor has a fix been made to TC in 2 months. The "teams" feature, which was supposed to come out with this last dlc...never happened, as well. Honestly, I think Teams are utterly pointless for a few reasons I won't go into...but just another diversion from focusing on the core game and TC, yes, the heart of Trials. The tournament feed was a noble attempt at putting something new and ongoing into the game, but clearly isn't used by even an ultra small percentage.
I know you mentioned the community manager is responsible for RL picks and the Featured section of TC...so what in 4 months has been done there? No extensive coding needed, just a blatant oversight. My buddy went on TC for the first time in a bit and wondered why there's a large FEATURED box...with nothing, no RL picks are made, etc. I had to point him towards the Uplay feed for any tracks worth playing. Maybe he's an idiot though..hahah
I know the 48hr feed is more taxing on the server, but why not use better servers? Hasn't Ubisoft grossed 30 million so far on the game, not counting DLC? I'd say there should be some money that can be used to support a 48hr feed...just sayin.
We appreciate your presence and I know people care about the game, probably more than I. But the "we're continuing to improve the game" just holds little weight, when it's 4 months down the road, fewer people are playing, and the company is more concerned about dlc for more money, than correcting the core game...oh, and multiplayer...which I don't care much about.

@En0 - in no way was my post a dig at you, I commend you for replying to people a lot more than others do.
My point was that before Fusion came out, Evo's TC was getting abused by single cp ninja tracks that were taking over the feeds. Almost everyone was asking for a upload limit to stop this from happening but we were told NO. Now this has happened (it was inevitable) and all everyone is thinking is "told you so".
I really hope something does get done for a limit as lots of the creators will stop making tracks and no-one wants that.

Forgot about that today. My bad. I'll discuss it with Bluebadger and Shifty to see what we can do quickly.
