    Inferno 4 ridiculously difficult?

I have spent more time trying to platinum Inferno 4 than all other extreme tracks combined. Someone please tell me that I am not the only one who has this problem??

I'm getting oh so close now but OMG, once I hit platinum, I will probably not play it again for quite some time, uggg!

It's a tough track. I have 0 faulted it but I was like 17 seconds too slow for platinum. I can do most of the obstacles consistently except for that long vertical wall near the end.

It's fairly hard but once you get used to it you'll find it easier and be able to 0 fault it most times you try.

Definitely the most difficult. I didnt come into fusion very good at trials, so its hard to say in terms of time how long it took me to platinum the extremes as I generally only attempted to platinum extremes courses after I got better and was confident I could platinum the track within a reasonable amount of time.

With that said I got the platinum for EOTS not too long after release, there was maybe a month gap between when I decided to try platinuming the rest of the extremes. I finally just got around to feeling confident enough to try for the plat on inferno after finishing the DLC. Its a real pain because while most extremes there might be 1 or 2 obstacles that are difficult and give you trouble. Almost all the obstacles on inferno are fairly difficult and really easy to make a mistake on imo.

Does anyone know of a consistent way of completing the long vertical wall on inferno? The one right before you hop over the explosive barrel and drop down to the bottom of the big ramp that leads to the final checkpiont. I tend to start seated as far back as I can, hold left as I hit the ramp and then just go by feel for the rest of it. I like to go full throttle all the way up and try to frontflip, either landing my back tire all the way up, or fender grabbing depending on how much forward momentum I'm able to maintain. However, my way is really damn inconsistent and it's easy to fault here if you don't get it in the first try due to the explosive barrel on the way back down.

I feel like this obstacle is really holding me back from getting a platinum time. Every time I've managed to zero fault the track, I've had to attempt this stupid obstacle like 5 times and it really kills my times...

    Thoughts?

I suggest keep practising the obstacle and pressing b everytime you make it so you don't trigger the next checkpoint.

It is easier to go back tire touch first then push forward and accelerate then slowly reduce the pressure on the RT button as you go higher and higher before going right over. It gets easier to get the knack of it over time.

Try to start at the cp and not to far back (speed wont help you at this obstacle). Then bunnyhop into the ramp in front of it, gas and try to get your backwheel first on the wall and gas up. On top just try to get on your frontwheel and break It doesnt rly matter if you make it first try or not, because you can easily recover in case you fail

I was already at a decent level when I got fusion, but it still took me ages to platinum inferno 4. it just takes a while to get used to it. i'm quite consistent on it now, i can 0 it in a few tries.
