Can someone please explain signatures to me? And don't start with 500x150 pixels. I upload my signature image as .png and it always loses quality even if it's actually 500x150. And whenever I'm trying to take an imgur link, it says "invalid URL".

it loses quality if you use the forums img uploader.

upload your img in imgur and paste the url in the signature text box with [img] [ / img] around it (without spaces)

Dont use the URL it gives you, right click the uploaded pic and do "Copy image URL" or whatever and use that

Thanks to both of you. I never thought about just using the URL and do the [IMG] thing directly, I always entered the URL in the field for uploading a signature pic with a link. I feel stupid.

I have seen things that were very disturbing. A wise man once said "flow is the basis of fun". Forcing you to stay in a certain spot for a few seconds, combined with explosives that make you stumble, is not fun. As per the the quote it's in fact the antithesis of fun. It just amazes me sometimes that experienced people working for enormous companies just don't get it. Another thing they refuse to understand is that gameyness can be very problematic. Really ugly interfaces do hurt the experience tremendously!

Oh well enough about my nightmares, just had to vent somewhere .
