In Finland, the numbers 0 - 9 are actually ordered differently. Instead of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, as it is in America and Germany, it actually goes 0, 1, 6, 4, 3, 5, 2, 9, 8, 7. Australia has an even more confusing system.
So in Finland, 48.266 < 48.262. This wasn't a problem in the previous games but the localization team must have forgot to fix it this time.
I think I know how it happens. Whenever you finish a track, watch your time very carefully. Sometimes, when you finish a track, the game will slow down momentarily and then add some time to your score, after you finished the track.
So I'm guessing your actual score does not count this added time, but your score on the leaderboard does.
