Seriously - Thanks for the DLC

I was pretty disappointed with the Trials Fusion's rough launch. It's not that the game was bad or anything - I had plenty of fun with it and consider it an overall enjoyable experience - but I found there to be far too many misguided and questionable design decisions and stripped-down gameplay to be considered a worthy successor to Evolution. I played through the campaign, got all but a few of the platinums and challenges but with no online multiplayer and a lackluster PC Track Central there was little else to do and the game sort of died to me. Not even the addition of Tournaments managed to get my interest.

I read that there would be "only" 6 trials tracks included with RotR and I was setting myself up for disappointment, but I'm happy to have been proven wrong. These are some of the best trials tracks this far - Well-executed driving lines, appealing aesthetics, decent music and no filler beginner/easy cakewalks. Hell, even the skill game is great fun, and I can't wait to see what sorts of creations track editors will cook up with all

RL has caught a lot of flack over how Fusion was handled and while you deserve some of it, I think you can give yourselves a pat on the back for this one. Here's hoping that the remaining five events will be just as good.

    also, multiplayer ETA when? :)

I agree, the new DLC tracks are excellent, on the whole they are a much higher standard than the original tracks and the medal times are more of a challenge. No Beginner or Easy tracks and no Roller Coaster style tracks either - we've been spoilt! AND no Panda tracks so I'm happy about that too! A shame there are only 6 new tracks though. RedLynx can keep on that 6 tracks plus 18 challenges is equal to 24 new tracks but it isn't. I enjoy the challenges but there's next to no replay value in them. Once they're done, they're done. You've no reason to do them again. It's 6 trials tracks, end of.

The Skill game is also very good. It's a proper riding track like the "hill climb" and "on fire" skill games so that's pleasing and will offer some replay value.

As for the FMX track - very sneaky tying it to the "Top Dog of the Turf" achievement but I suppose you've got to do something to get people to play it. At least it wasn't as tedious as that 20,000 FMX points achievement in the main game as I could just ride through this one from start to finish without doing anything to get the achievement and now forget about it.

There are many underlying issues with the game that, after 3 months, STILL need to be addressed and this DLC will probably distract people's attention away from those in the very short-term but hopefully you'll concentrate on those next and give us something to really cheer about.

There's no doubting the quality of the dlc is there and I have full faith the quality will be there in every dlc (never had any doubt there).

Quantity is my only issue and the pace it's being trickled out at, never expected as much as Evo, but expected more than this. Kind of wish I could cryogenically freeze myself until the rest of the dlc is out so I can enjoy the whole lot at once.

Yeah RL always delivers. Check out the track by Xzample on xbox one. First top weekly with DLC, and it's a good one.
