Haha my post was deleted. Stride was banned fighting for the competitive community. He only said what he said because he feels there's no hope for us in the Trials universe. Maybe he's right.

What did stride say that was helpful to the community? He said he wanted to be banned along with having a go at at people he doesn't know, yeah, fighting spirit.... he got his wish. He said nothing constructive at all! He flamed the conversation hoping for people to rally what he said and you are doing it.. He said nothing about the game and only talked about people he hates. Fighting for the community? Stop it.

Strides ya boy, fair enough, you already know that I know that but what he said does not help the community one bit so please don't play off what he said like you have said it. Your 1st paragraph is an opinion that I did not hear from stride but yourself, not even close to what he said. I respect what you say and is constructive. You also know my position and know I ain't going to answer cause I can't.

I'm still super new here on the Forums and I dislike getting tangled up in fights, so I usually don't post much; but on the topic of this thread I agree with what Barrybarfly said here.

Back on subject, even though I have a season pass, having a Global and a global + dlc leaderboard is a no brainer for me. Thats my two cents anyway.

I'm not really competitive, and to honest, I really suck at Trials (I can't even zero fault Inferno IV ). I only found Trials Evolution last year, so I didn't know or care about leaderboards last year. I was just trying to zero fault Titan Graveyard... The idea of two leaderboards does make sense to me though, and so I +1 the idea. I don't know how long updates take to plan and create so I just thought I'd post sooner than later.

Again, I'm not competitive or hardcore, yet, but I still like the idea of 2 leaderboards. I like this idea even more though...

If it's not that difficult, then you should have one leaderboard with an option on the side to turn off/on each DLC. That way no matter what combination of DLC I have, I can get a fair leaderboard.

Having an option to turn on or off each DLC would be the best. It'd be cool for me to see which part of the game I performed best on. Currently I just went up about 30 spots on my leaderboard position for playing the DLC. And I didn't even get gold on all the tracks. I'd love to see how I did in just Riders of Rustlands, or any of the others (separately) for that matter.

Sorry but I can tell you the opposite. I know a couple lads who didn't buy Evo DLCs (and they're not going to buy Fusion's) but they had a good ranking in the global LB, around 1000 iirc. What if one of them wants to rank up to top 100 on Fusion when the 3rd DLC is out, for example ? (Take into consideration that the 100 first players have a score over 15M points and have bought at least 2 DLCs.)

Does it benefit the franchise...?

I bought my season pass because I like this game.
I am certainly a casual compared to most of you, but yesterday morning, I was happy to see my new ranking.

Yes, honestly, that's what could convince casual players of buying DLCs.
That is... wait... the goal of any game... in order to make more games.

And yes, En0 is right, competitive players are buying DLCs.
Otherwise, you can still compare your score with your friends.

I play BF4, I bought my season pass and I love this hellish Bulldog but obviously won't complain for those who don't have it

There was a reason there was 2 separate leaderboards in the last 2 trials otherwise independent Redlynx wouldn't have put it in there, enough said.

I don't think Willy wants to come home, it's not what it used to be anyway.

If they ban enough people who disagree with the way they're doing things pretty soon the only "fans" left will be the kiss-asses praising and thanking them for the laughable "DLC." So long and farewell competitive leaderboards, great content, listening to the masses, keeping Trials "Trials," and so on.

Banning isn't required for that to happen. It's half happened already. Most of the HD guys left a long ago, the bulk of the Evo guys are gone and by this game's conclusion the old guard will have left entirely. That's alot of beast riding and beast editing sapped out from the community.
