Like I said in the other thread: "How many times will we be slapped before we wake up?" Having multiple leaderboards was an appeal to the competitive players, and therefore not worthy of spending the time on anymore. Just another step backward.

@Redlynx: If you don't understand why implementing multiple leaderboards with the introduction of DLC is imperative, (something that the old Redlynx team had the common sense to understand 5 years ago) then there's no hope. Now if you want to be competitive on the leaderboards you are FORCED to buy DLC to compete.

I'll try to propose another point of view. Doesn't mean I agree with one opinion or the other. I just try to expose another reasoning, if this question would come to me, what would I try to understand. Obviously it doesn't state Redlynx/Ubisoft's opinion (I have no idea what is the official position).


So, most of the people who compete for Global Leaderboard will by the way buy the DLCs/Season Pass. So they wouldn't benefit of having separate leaderboard.
Other people who don't care about Global Leaderboard wouldn't benefit of having separate leaderboard, because by the way, they don't care.

But we should implement a feature that wouldn't be useful only to prevent people to say "they force us to pay" / "to make players feel better".
By implementing a feature that nobody actually uses, it means we won't implement a feature that a lot of people could enjoy (because time is clearly not infinite, and choosing to implement something is also choosing to not implement something else).

Yes, maybe I would say "that's going to be a **** storm on the forum, we should implement". Or maybe I would say "that would be better if we could let that aside and implement this other feature for the next game update instead of delaying it".


I just try to show that the decision is not obvious contrary to what we could think.

Without 2 LB's as it has been said riders (that have worked hard on there score no matter what it is, top rider or not) will fall down the leaderboard and not know where the truly compare with their friends.

Also with only having one leaderboard i don't know what score i have, i have always wanted to reach 13,500,000 but now i won't know how much score i have so i won't be able to know when i achieve it.

So with 2 LB's everyone's problem will be solved, no matter who the player is, good or bad, it's not just the good players that want to know their true leaderboard position.

So, every competitive player that doesn't want to continue feeding you guys money no longer has a fair global leaderboard?

What feature will you take away if we don't buy the next DLC? Hopefully it's the Panda.

We only want 2 LB's, one with the base game, the other with Base Game + All DLC's, like Evo

Nope. The way it has been done since HD is that there is two leaderboards: Global and Global + DLC. This way the people who didn't want to pay for DLC would still have a leaderboard to compete on. Decisions like this is what made Redlynx awesome. They actually cared about the fans, even if they didn't keep throwing money at them.

Now if you don't give them money, a huge feature is taken from you.

OMG!!! im getting sick by reading Enos Messages idk how long can takes this anymore so many steps back why ??? 1 leaderboard WOW will online MP affect Global Leaderboard too ? XD i think so

ist just not right to force us to buy the DLCs ist just strategy to get Money, getting Money but dont put any more Money in the game thats make me sad why why why ?

MP won't affect Global, that wouldn't happen, if we're lucky it will have it's own LB's

Camn down with the suicide wish, you may be upset with some of there decisions but that's too far man

I got to be honest your attitude on here is out of order. If you are sick of it, then don't read! stop saying you are forced, it's obviously not the way that some individuals prefer the way it was done and frankly I'm getting tired thinking some people think this game should be tailored to there every need, we listen to you guys but OMG can we stop grabbing the pitch forks every time something isn't exactly the way YOU want it.
