Gutted. Can someone confirm this to be the case. If so, why!!? (I've not been on Sony platform for very long so don't know what sort of circus they are running)

Sure sucks. Just noticed. I can't grab it for PS4 either. It really depends... some games on PSN (Dark Souls 2 for example) give you dlc access day and date while others make you wait for the day your region's store updates. Just have to wait and see I guess. Sony make some kick a** consoles and 1st party games, but their service (especially in relation to PSN) can be s**t especially if you're used to the relatively good service from M$
