doesn't sound like its not much to me! and if you break it down say £0.30 per track + challenges + achievements and £1.00 for editor items, i say it's good value, oh for sure i have purchased DLC and been disappointed in the past and there are companies out to grab your cash with no regard to quality or content, but seriously do you think RL or even UBi are one of these?. I'm getting 6 DLC packs for £16.00, not too shabby, or the price of a couple of rounds of beers.
5 new achievements/trophies
10 new tracks
6 classic Trials tracks
2 new Supercross tracks (local multiplayer)
One new Skill Game (“Laws of Motion”)
One new FMX track (“The Gauntlet”)
18 new Track Challenges
Each classic Trials track contains 3 Track Challenges
Track Challenges range from secret locations to minigames:
Infiltrate the Outsiders’ hidden base
Compete in a game show against penguins
Find more secret squirrels
Dozens of new Editor Objects
Steel pipe set
Worn ramp set
Computer mainframes
And much more
If anybody feels like this DLC isn't worth the money like I do, don't give them your money. All of our complaints and problems with the game are pointless as long as we keep giving them money. This community was an afterthought (in terms of innovation) with Fusion and Frontier. Giving them your money is fully supporting what they've done to the Trials name.
Selling 6 tracks instead of 35 and having the same price, and trying to justify it with nonsense like challenges. And after getting sold an unfinished game that was advertised as finished....how much times do people have to get slapped before they wake up?
I promised myself I will buy the first DLC and base my decision to buy the season pass on the amount and variation of objects. I honestly don't really mind the amount of 6 (trials tracks), with TC and all.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
But I've bought the season pass just now, cause I like the game and I know I would have bought the rest of the dlc anyway.
True that it's a step down from the quantity of evo's dlc, but I really think we got spoiled there. I remember a lot of people mentioned it was a really good deal (35 tracks, skill games and editor objects) and I don't really blame Redlynx/Ubi for increasing the price and lowering the quantity, frustrating as it can be, it's a business after all.
imo they proved themselves with Evo and HD that they can make a good game and I'll put my faith in them that they, like they promised, will continue to improve the game in terms of features and patches. I still like the game and I'll get its money worth in the amount of playtime I put in the game.
edit: Regards to releasing an unfinished game I'm probably on the same page as you.
Xzamplez, I completely see where you're coming from, but are you really not going to buy the dlc? What about all of the custom tracks that will be built with the new dlc objects?..Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
I'm wondering though, say they fix all of the problems in a few months... Will you buy the dlc then? Or is just that you think the dlc is too expensive?
Surely though you can see that we're still getting a great deal even though fusion + dlc is more expensive than evo + dlc, can't you? Do you play COD, of GTA5 or anything? I'm interested to know how many hours you have in those games vs fusion. And whether you'll come back to fusion (if you've stopped playing it) after the game is fully finished.
tracks in DLC are "upscale, all excellent"
for the object, I put a wildcard on the table, except for some new objects, others, they have 5 minutes to change the texture ....
the problem is that with the same objects, we will do the same "without the DLC"
urges the arrival of the second DLC (wooden floor, dome ... all fresh air)
xzample, disappointment is there, but the fun remains the same ... stay and play my friend
... Do you say this after taking into account that a banana split only uses ONE banana?Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ Go to original post

They won't do that and it makes perfect sense, why make builders pay for objects when others can ride their tracks for free, completely leaving the 10 in-game tracks out of the equasion for both players here.Originally Posted by oRz_iPsyKoZ Go to original post
And it makes even more sense once you see tracks that use objects for all 6 DLC together, which I am sure will be the case in the end for some customs.
Then builders gotta pay an extra €20 (€30 without pass) , while the basegame + all customs still costs €20.
Once again leaving out of the equasion any extra in-game tracks that might come that the builder might or might not want to play.
This also has nothing to do with Ubi/RL getting more money that way, of course they do, but the most important thing is fairness for all players.
