Why...dear god why do people rate crappy maps with a good rating? It's evo and fusion...I just do not understand why 6 second ninja cp's and random maps with no thought and so on get so many dl's and high ratings...why do people like crap? That isn't to say that some good maps don't do well but it makes you not want to create when you know you have made a good map...better than half the mess on TC and it gets...nothing. Yep, I am losing my mind.

In all honesty I don't think its even the quality of the rating system, its the quality of the people rating them. Lots of new people who don't understand or appreciate what goes into a great track vs a quickie. The quality of the rating system is not the only reason of course but if the rating system change it could help!
If we were able to put 0 to 5* as Trials Evo. (or 0 to 10* why not), i think it could be always better than just 0* or 5* (/like - don't like).
They could also add a rating system like that :
0* to 10* for the driving line
0* to 10* for the decoration
etc...
With the main * at 5*.
But maybe the (new) players will take this as too complex or too serious for this type of game, who know ...
