And yeah the guy got it wrong about the "classic" tracks but overall it was a good point and people jumped on him. Guess you all like the idea of diminishing, overpriced content being released for unfinished games... remember your stance on complaining when the sequel to Fusion is brutal F2P nonsense after they realise Frontier made them far more cheddar than Fusion did.
I'd like to see some numbers on that Mr Accountant. I somehow very much doubt that to be true. But you never know. I've been wrong many a time.

The numbers are freely available if you google previous DLCs.

From IGN: The first DLC pack for Trials Evolution takes you to Paine Island. The DLC includes 36 new tracks, the Gecko 520 BMX bike, 2 new Skill Games, new rider gear, new track editor items and 8 new achievements for 100 points.

10/36 = .2778 or roughly 28%, so Mr Accountant was not far off at all

I was on about Willy saying Frontier made more sponds than Fusion. I lazy quoted all of it but should have directly been that bit.

Admittedly I don't know the price of this upcoming dlc, but other members on this site have said it will be the same price as Evo's dlcs, if one of them can say where they got that info I'd appreciate it.
If it turns out to be cheaper then I'll backtrack and apologize for causing trouble.

I say a quarter of the content because this dlc has 6 trials tracks in it - Origin of Pain for Evo had 24 tracks in it.

edit: sorry I didnt realise you meant Frontier. Obviously I dont have the numbers, I was speaking hypothetically. I dont think it's a stretch to imagine Frontier earning more than Fusion is it? Either way the point is things are getting worse not better, and by being compliant people are inadvertently allowing things to get worse not better and blah blah whatever

    Ah, gotcha.

Well you could always have a look at this:

    http://thinkgaming.com/app-sales-dat...ials-frontier/

If $14,626 is the daily estimate, I'd say it's definitely possible. Not to mention, that's just the U.S. market

    The more you know....

This has been answered on the thread of the news of the announce (and of course, it's not inflation). Please refer to this before posting again that the DLC is smaller.

    Regards,
    This thread? - http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ands-Announced

I see yourself, Shifty and Anba telling people it also includes a skill game and an fmx track (Origin of Pain had 2 skill games so "equal" in that respect) it includes new achievements (as did the evo dlc's) it includes new editor objects (as did the evo dlc's) and 25% of the amount of trials tracks... but of course we get 3 challenges per track.

So 6 tracks + 18 challenges in Fusion = 24 tracks in Evo? Is that the answer?

I saw your post saying that Evo's dlc was huge and underpriced - and maybe you're right to say that - but when UbiLynx decide "they were getting far too much for their money, let's charge the same amount but give them 75% less content".. people are gonna be annoyed, and I am not wrong when I say the dlc is smaller, whether you think it's justified or not.

    Hello,

    Yes, this thread.

The value of a DLC is not directly the number of tracks. If it would be, it would mean 1 track in Evo has the same value as 1 track in Fusion.
It's not true. The assets are higher quality, the tracks are longer (+ the challenges).
Yes, there were much more tracks in the DLC of Evo but the value is not the number of tracks only. Especially as people play a lot in Track Central.

As long as the playtime of a full walkthrough of EVO DLC is not compared to the playtime of a full walkthrough of Fusion DLC, we can't conclude it's smaller.
And it would also be the right measure to conclude the % of difference (you say Fusion DLC = 25% of Evo DLC... that's not true.).

That's the only thing I am saying is your way to compare is too direct. It's a little bit more complicated.

Though I understand the initial frustration.

    Cheers,

en0 sorry, but the "right" value is that loveth buyers, customers ... and obviously it's not that!

stop arguing, we love the slopes or you have to run fast, and we do not like your current vision, we do not have 10 years ... it is not necessary for us to "impose" your vision

You haven't played it yet, so you don't know if you like it.

Also, there are a lot of slopes where you have to run fast I don't think it's missing between the singleplayer ones and the Track Central.

Finally keep being so nice, that will motivate the devs and me to stay far from here.
