You can tell it's the weekend. Either these kids have been at school all week and just taking a dip off of CoD to whinge....or these are adults that spend all week at work only to then whinge during their time off instead of playing some of the new Ubi Rec tracks or creating something marvelous themselves.

Anyone I see whinging gets docked 10 internet points instantly.

I've been getting back into Fusion a little more the past couple of weeks thanks to lots of the top flight friending me on ps4. And it has spurred me on to try and beat or at least compete closely with some of their times (mostly on customs). That's what HD, Evo and Fusion are about...and probably one of the biggest complaints previously is about lack of urge to play. I don't get it. Each to their own I guess.

I suppose you can't, all people like you are good for is making two troll posts on a forum - creative.

people forget that making a game is not mandatory, and making a oretty good trials game fits this description even more so.
Forget self-respect when you struggle to find respect to people who make things for you.

To make things right? What do you expect? They make a free game for you? If you are unsatisfied with the game, ultimatly it's your own fault for buying it. There are enough ways to know the state of a game before you buy it.

Another car metaphor....already been said numerous times. Why keep repeating things that has already been said? Do you think it holds more meaning because you say it? I don't get it...

Free DLC? Where do you get this from? And again, if you are not happy with the DLC, don't buy it...if you think the DLC costs too much, look at what other games give you for that price..

"pay to play abonimation"? As far as I know you can perfectly play Frontier without paying. If you mean pay to play more, what are you even complaining about then? You can choose to play for free, and if you really like it you can pay a bit to play more. Nobody is even forcing you to play it...

TL;DR: You are repeating things that have been said already and nobody cares at this point for reading the same thing over and over

I should clarify, possibly contrary to how I sounded in a prior post, that I think Frontier is great... providing you are upgraded enough to enjoy the game. The core game is fantastic and has some really great tracks. Everything else is really, really bad. I "spent" probably $1000 or more at this point and am still not fully upgraded on everything. I do legit grinding, I only use the cash and gems as annoyance reducers. I honestly do not know how anyone can get as far as I have in the game (and I've been playing since beta) without having a life.

Again, I think Frontier's core is fantastic. The paywall is so large, though that it is not worth spending legitimate money on. I'd gladly pay $20 or so for a Vita version that allows me to upgrade at an appropriate time that is not 100 hours. But not $1000. Or $60. Or $30.

Hey geordie, please climb down from your high horse. When there are glaring problems with something, it will be criticized. And guess what, I actually really wanted to try some new Fusion tracks after a full week of work, but (surprise, surprise) I could not get on TC all day! I power cycled my modem/router, and even tried hard-wiring my internet. Fired up Evo and didn't look back.

I was apparently wrong about DLC being mostly recycled content (misinterpreted something from a game reviews website). However, you can compare DLCs in other Trials games and see a disturbing (familiar) downward trend in content, and I stand by the other points made in my post.

Also, had you been paying any attention at all to my "whinging" post you'd realize I hate what the CoD series has become, and I don't want Trials to end up like that (endless iterations with no real innovation, milking us with sparse DLC).

I am not one of the mindless haters of Fusion. It's not a terrible game by any means, but not an exceptional one either. It's maybe a 7 or 7.5 with some very solid and memorable tracks. I'm not the type of person who just runs through a title and never picks it up again. I had sincerely high hopes for this game and gave it more than a fair chance. It just feels hollow.

Before Fusion, trials was about giving the fans more than they could ever ask for and seeing what they could do with it. Now it's about giving us the bare minimum and seeing how much we'll put up with.

We can no longer locally store tracks, so we're forced to use an unstable service that farms info from us for advertising purposes. Bit by bit, Ubisoft is destroying one of the greatest video game franchises of all time.

Peace man. I was kind of joking. You can have your 10 internet points back for the dig at Ubi which I fully condone.

Everything in the DLC is brand new. "Classic" describes the Classic style of tracks from the Trials Franchise, not tracks that have been in "Classic" Trials games.

Since Trials HD, we have seen an amazing amount of brilliant creations from the Trials community. To me, this is what Trials is all about, giving the players the tools that our team used, and seeing what they can do with it (which is almost word-for-word what you just said). That hasn't changed. Having seen the amount of effort that our programmers, artists, level designers, and, frankly, everyone on a Trials-related team, I can assure you, it is anything but minimal.

I would also like to mention that I have seen quite a few people state that they can only make tracks set in the future, which isn't exactly true. There are some limitations with the editor, but by using your imagination, you can create some truly amazing content.

I'll buy you a box of doughnuts of your choice Shifty if next team meeting you slip in the idea of track central feed which has All tracks from HD and Evo, re-made in Fusion. Don't do this obviously until sales run dry-ish. You could then bash out some heavy marketing whereby Players can now play so and so tracks from HD and Fusion.

Or just get them to remake some fan favourites. Internet vote will confirm the tracks.

Think of the doughnuts. Or if you don't like them I'll buy you some beers.
Terms and conditions are, if it doesn't happen then you don't get beers or sweet goodness. Reward will be left under the Eiffel tower along with the other gubbins in 100 years.

    Deal?

What's the official response on us getting a third/a quarter of the amount of trials tracks for the same price? Inflation?

And yeah the guy got it wrong about the "classic" tracks but overall it was a good point and people jumped on him. Guess you all like the idea of diminishing, overpriced content being released for unfinished games... remember your stance on complaining when the sequel to Fusion is brutal F2P nonsense after they realise Frontier made them far more cheddar than Fusion did.
