    Slowmotion feature in replays?

I really want a slowmotion feature in replays. As it is now, I toggle start and stop to attain a slowmo effect. Not quite the same though.
Didn't the past Trials game have this feature?

I still don't get why Redlynx took it out. There cant possibly be an explanation for this.

    Hello,

The reason is: the current implementation doesn't work correctly and it's not on top of the priority and may never come there. It's not something we are discussing at the moment. Other improvements to come (some expected and some surprises), but this one is in none of our list at the moment.

    Cheers,

This. It's an extremely valuable tool in learning how to overcome obstacles and do tricky moves. I hope someone, somewhere will take it upon themselves to ensure this one isn't left of the list entirely even if its low in priority.

I want to thank the devs for implementing the slowmotion feature. I know it was a long time now since it was added, and I've been meaning to comment on it before but time slips by so fast.
Thank you for supporting the game, and listening to your community

^I second that notion as well. I use it extensively when i take in the pleasure of viewing my own replays whilst basking in the sheer awesomeness that i am. Thank you for such gratification, RL!

PS- any chance for a rewind feature? Itd be cool if we could do that instead of replaying the replay. Not a high priority but i cant see it being too hard to implement.

I use it every time I play. It is extremely satisfying to watch in slowmotion when you do something awesome.
And yea, a rewind feature would be cool if possible. Though I feel like a stuck up, never satisfied, nagging consumer, for mentioning it lol

Rewind is much more difficult than slow-mo. I think. I don't program, but here's why:

Slow-mo can be achieved by slowing down the game engine (I don't know how we do it) and making it render at a lower speed.

Rewind takes making the physics engine work in reverse at the press of a button. In Trials we aren't just watching a video of a reply, we're seeing what is in effect a pre-scripted physics simulation running on recorded controller inputs. I would love to see a rewind feature as well, but I don't see it happening in Fusion.
