Trials Fusion reached one million units on June 24th while beeing released on the 16th of April ( 2 months) while Evo reached the same amount on the 6th of december only being released a few days later April 18th. (7months)
I must say Redlynx, Ubi and EA are right fans don't matter for the success of a game since their percentage is slim. I thought maybe there'd be some kind of boomerang effect but nvmd. It seems that the opinion about Trials Fusion is higher away from this forums.

On the forum, hardcore fans, hardcore opinion. Understandable even if obviously it was not really "objective" opinionsHowever, several of the strongest voices seem to have change their mind and agree the game is enjoyable and gets better.
But looks like some people have time to waste, so they come here just to be negative, not to improve anything/Hi Willyumz

What could someone with my opinion improve? Could I tell Redlynx to sell the game for less? Reduce/eliminate the price of DLC? Honestly communicate with their fan base? I could, but it's just "negativity".
I just wish it would not go into the patch things up, addon direction since I am in my third term of software development at collage and would much rather develope a game till it is finished and not try to monetize every little transaction (not talking about fusion right now). People get what they want/pay for that is the way the world works. It shows that selling an average game and selling an extremly awsm game equals out as long as the name fits. And I think Fusion although it is very enjoyable (I am not such a mega giga pro that i would make such a fuss about coffin runs and stuff) , I think you have to admit that it is just not the masterpiece HD and Evo where at their time.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I appreciate it though that you fix things up fast, I've got time and don't care that much. The biggest letdown and I know that probably sounds like a giant lol to you is that I got the feeling you used a lot of generic Ubisoft Engines/ premade code designing the menu and a lot of aspects of the game. But maybe that is just me noticing or I might be completely wrong I don't know.
@ reddit Sure good that you got a place to retreat. ;_) Negativity won't make the game any better or improve anything. Only the best devs are Hardcore enough to deal with the Hardcore opinion up here.
Sure but the install base is not that big of the xbox one and ps4 and you can nearly () the PC version. So it is still selling at a 3,5 faster rate. Since it is a cheap retail release though things can't be said that easily.Originally Posted by B8ZZ Go to original post

Fusion was marketed smarter and better. UbiLynx got some famous youtubers involved for example, this wasnt the case with Evo.
Also, Ps4 & X1 consoles are still in the first year of release. Not that many games available, especially not many arcade titles.
I believe Fusion was rushed out & released in a half finished state partly because of this.
If they had waited til x-mas to finish the game they would have had a much harder time selling Fusion with all the games that are coming out around that time.
And lets face it: Trials is an awesome game.
Fusion might be a poorly done version of Trials, BUT its still Trials.
The beatles sold more albums than Pink Floyd but every one with ears knows wich was the better band.
Lil Wayne sold more records than Immortal Technique but only a complete idiot would say Wayne is better.
Just because Fusion sold more copies than Evo does not mean its better.
Every Trials fan knows Evo is King.
