My husband and I both did all of the challenges... and then the PS3 died and took our save files with it. Since we weren't paying Sony's protection money, there was no way to back up the saves. So now I'm with those who are hoping for another chance in fact in addition to having always been with them in spirit :'(.

I just noticed that AC IV Black Flag price dropped on the PSN, does this eman that a price drop on the physical game will follow too?

I would like to play the game again. My question is: is it still possible to get the items from community challenges eg. Explorer's Outfit, El Impoluto’s Wheel etc...)
Or do not even waste my time?

Not currently. It's unlikely they will be run again, but Never Say Never, and all that...

There's already a thread with people wishing for the community challenges to come back for another round here. However, I would not get my hopes all too high that they still care about that. But you never know.

Sorry, but it's unlikely. Ubisoft felt 10 months was "enough" support for the (until today) most recent game in the series. Now that two new games are out, there's even less chance.

So you're telling me just because I missed this notification, it is LITERALLY impossible for me to 100% AC IV now?

As a new developing completionist, that's complete ********.

At least in AC2 the preorder DLC that controls 100% completion rate is included in the steam version I have.

That's ridiculous. And I imagine it's only worse in Unity where you CANNOT EVEN PLAY CO-OP MISSIONS SOLO WITHOUT ONLINE.

I HIGHLY DOUBT those servers are going to be there forever.

Ubisoft is not considering long term AT ALL.

Seven years down the line a good 40% of Unity wont be able to be completed AT ALL.

Do I have that right?

There's no alternatives WHATSOEVER for new AC players who check out older installments?

They promised another round if there is enough demand for it - so hopefully they keep considering this now with all the people who bought the game for Christmas.
