I'm new to the whole Community Challenges thing, but after doing some searching I have three questions:

1) These are completed in SP, not MP, right?

2) How many of each action (assassination, plunder, etc.) does each person need to do in order to get the reward (assuming the community target is met)?

3) Again checking to see is my google-fu was right: Do these show up on the leader board in-game?

1. Yes SP not MP.

2. I've done a few and it depends on the objective. I know one time it said sink ships and the max you could contribute towards the goal was 5.

3. Yes, it says the goal, your contribution and the total % complete.

2) Not sure, but usually something like 5.

Looks like they made it really easy to obtain the Explorer outfit. I only needed to assassinate two guards and the outfit unlocked afterwards.

Yep. The aggregate target had already been met by the time I even logged on, so I just assassinated the first two dudes I found in Kingston and the outfit unlocked.

Even easier: The text said to assassinate two, but the outfit unlocked after just one (and showed my progress as "1/1").

Seriously, it they're going to make it that easy, they should just put the stuff in a chest for everyone.

Dumb request alert: Can anyone confirm that this is a cycle of 6 items that repeats once? Meaning if I complete all of the challenges through 8/9 and do nothing else I will have all the community items? (assuming the goal is met)

My eyes are messing with me so better safe than sorry.

EDIT: One more question,

Will community events such as the white whale and royal convoys happen indefinitely? Or is this the end of *community* events/challenges in general? All I'm missing is 1 more royal convoy.

Yes to both. They're basically doing two cycles of the challenges to make sure everyone gets them.

The whales etc, are generated by the game, however, so should carry one.

I have a question that I hope somebody can help me out with. Can you only complete the challenges on one game save. I have 3 saves and I was hoping to complete the challenges on all three saves but it only gave me the reward on the first save that I complete the challenge on

For me, it works for all saves.
