I completely agree with you.Originally Posted by NothinButThRain Go to original post
They are still selling the Assassin's Creed Anthology, this obviously contains all of the previous games, which suggests they obvioulsy feel there is still money to made in selling older games. However, will future anthologies then not contain AC4 because new players will not be able to enjoy and complete the Community Challenges? Will all existing AC4 games be removed from the shelves on August 22nd 2014 and no longer be available for sale....anywhere, because new players will not be able to complete the game? Will the people that have been unable to complete the challenges get money back because they could not complete the game through no fault of their own? Was the schedule made for the customer, or Ubisoft? Is this not also the summer holiday season when many people are away on holiday from, on average 2 weeks, but also 4 or more weeks?
@Black_Widow9: The tasks on the picture calendar don't match the tasks in the text list. I am assuming the text list is correct since its newer? (Everything is Assassinate in the image)
I hope the number for plunder warehouses isn't too high. If you screw up and the warehouse is abandoned, it can take--in my experience--a few days for it to be open again, meaning you could miss out on this.Originally Posted by Black_Widow9 Go to original post
Just to be clear, if the community as a whole misses the cumulative target for a certain event - no one will get the item? I know you claim the number isn't high but it could still be something that isn't easily accomplished in the time frame given. Or will it be whoever meets their individual contribution unlocks the item? That would make more sense to me if they wanted everyone to have a high chance of getting them all.
I'm new to the whole Community Challenges thing, but after doing some searching I have three questions:
1) These are completed in SP, not MP, right?
2) How many of each action (assassination, plunder, etc.) does each person need to do in order to get the reward (assuming the community target is met)?
3) Again checking to see is my google-fu was right: Do these show up on the leader board in-game?
Thanks for answering newbie questions.
That's what I'm afraid of. They should've just changed it to anyone who "participates" unlocks the items whether the goal is met or not. I mean they did say they wanted as many people as possible to be able to get them. I understand they want these to be some sort of challenge but they could easily increase the individual goal from the normal amounts. Well I guess it's still plenty of opportunity to get everything since the items are being recycled every 2 days. I just wonder if their definition of "low" numbers for the quotas is actually realistically attainable - I know many previously were not. Some of the lowest passed the 46% mark. I wonder if them ceasing these events will also affect the blue community events like the white whales, chests and convoys? Will they end too?Originally Posted by NothinButThRain Go to original post
