    [XB1] PETA Kills Pups Tracks

Sorry, I do not have any videos at the moment but I thought this would be a great place to get some feedback on my tracks.

Current list - Most are Medium with a few on Hard

My Track (broke my Cherry with Fusion and it seems to be a common mistake) Intended to use Snowcross 1.
    Snowcross 2
    Snowcross 3
    Snowcross 4
    Snowcross 5
    Snowcross 6
    Snowcross 7
    Snowcross 8
    Snowcross 9

Desertcross 1 and I am finishing up on Desertcross 2. Been spending a lot of time with the camera on the past two tracks. Trying to get a closer feel to what you might get in a Motocross game or actually riding.

Disclaimer: I do not make 100% pure Motocross tracks. I am adding a few new things you see on a Moto/Supercross track on the latest version. Mostly aesthetics like adding Berms (which is a PITA), pit crew area, etc. Have always loved Moto/Supercross video games but very rarely watch the actual sport.

    Appreciate any and all suggestions.

Desertcross 2 is finished. Berms added which was just for decoration but it appears as some people are trying to jump them? Tightened up the checkpoints, gave some hints on when to preload jumps. Still seeing way too many 20-30 fault runs from users, on a pretty standard motocross style course. I am guessing the camera is creating much of the problem but I hate to go back to default camera and I would not consider the Desertcross tracks to be under the "Hard" difficulty.

If you like, I'll try some if your tracks out and let you know my perspective of why riders may be getting so many faults? Sometimes funky cameras can be a game killer, but I wont know until I've tried.

I would appreciate it. Just FYI only the last two tracks (Desertcross) have the new camera. The other tracks are the default camera.

Went through and played all your tracks and have some feedback and suggestions, that are my opinion only. Your most recent two builds are your most mature IMO, the lines work and the obstacles are for the most part consistent. The over the shoulder camera in your last two looks cool, but would likely be a tad too awkward for most people seeing as the controls are still oriented for left to right. I'd personally just stick to the default camera and sparingly use custom cameras to give a better view where needed. From my experience it's best to avoid anything that takes away that feeling of the player being in control. A custom cam may look sweet or you may like a certain obstacle, but if it takes the feeling of control from the player best to not do it as it will detract from their enjoyment of your track. I feel your most recent two releases are your best lines and with a default camera I'm fairly certain the number of zero fault runs will increase.

Things to pay attention to based on my own personal experience:
    - Consistency of obstacle difficulty eg. no surprise extreme jumps in the middle of a medium track. Keep them within the difficulty range.
    - Consistency of flow. eg. Don't place obstacles that unexpectedly bring the rider to a sudden halt/crash on a high speed track.
    - Try not to repeat the same obstacles too many times where practical. Keep things fresh and interesting. I'd personally try to avoid lengthy parts of the course with lots of tyres as done too many times it can almost not feel like an obstacle anymore (even if it is authentic).
    - Watch replays of your tracks to see where people are failing.

That's it for now. Just my suggestions for your consideration. Hope it's helpful

Very much appreciated, exactly what I was looking for. I knew the camera would be an issue but wanted to try something a little more realistic. Since the controls are left to right I figured it would be hit or miss. Going to go back to something closer to the default camera. It's all been a learning experience and really hard to pinpoint why some tracks do well and others do not. Except for the first three, those were just not very good.

Added Envirocross yesterday. Fairly tough hard track replacing bumps and jumps with tires and rocks.

Enviorcross 2 added today. Made an indoor area with a plasma roof out of my existing base. A little more detail on this one and less difficult.

Enviorcross 3 added today to the PS4. Traded my XB1 to a friend for his PS4. I will definitely miss the trigger rumble but they both pretty much play alike.
