even with all its problems ANBA is the one thing that keeps me interested in this game. I used to really like chasing the leaderboard but once they started introducing tracks into the game that you had to be lucky to earn i gave up. with anba i am continually challenged AND get to improve my game each time i win a race. i like it.

Its nice to hear that from someone who is well-ranked; I feel that adding that extra challenge factor was what it was intended for. I always find it a little disturbing to hear from people who "game" ANBA purely for money, because that never seemed like what ANBA was for (it shows how broken the money aspect of the game is). I understand their motivation, but it just seems... wrong, even though I was forced to do it too.
Now that its working better, ANBA has grown on me too; truly wish I had experienced a working ANBA back when I started the game.
I also wish it would let me have multiple ANBA challenges going at once though; that would be cool!
Still, the friends list works pretty good for me too, I just dont get any money from it.I made a note yesterday that I need to improve my time on Devils Paradise back when you passed me up.

I liked it best before this update where it was a coin and gem generator. It always picked courses where improvements could be made easily. It seems too random now. I still have a few courses where I'm ranked in the high hundreds but it makes me race against some of my best times in the top 20.
I don't bother with it anymore. ANBA is dead to me.

i like it because it makes me play tracks i might not normally play. im ending up with some top 10 times now because of it. i use the friends list in that way too but i like the coin bonus too since i still need so much to upgrade my bikes.

I would be very happy if devs can add an option to switch off the ghost of anba.
I like anba, it can help me climb up the LB and give me coins and exp.
But the ghost is always dragging my attention away because i need to catch up with it, that makes me always fail.
now i often play alone in the tracks and push to my limit, after that it's difficult to win the same track in anba.
I just feel like losing lots of coins and exp

Id agree if it werent for hackers ruining it. When you get matched up with an impossible task and are forced to spend 10 Gems to MAYBE not get another hacker, it took the appeal away for me. I unfortunately also played the game like Ive played all Trials games, set the best time I could before I moved on lol. So I didnt get go abuse ANBA, so Ill probably never reach level 50 as thats really the only way to level up. It is a good system tho and I have definitely improved times using it in the past.

ive been fortunate enough not to be good enough to get matched against the hackers. i think you need to be really high up on the leaderboards to get them since they are usually in first place. ive rarely gotten matched up against people more than a few tens of a second but of course now i got matched against someone 1.5 seconds on hilltop ghetto

ha! of course since i made this thread its getting harder and harder! Now im routinely getting matched up against top 10 or even top 5 times on tracks. I dont mind I guess because it means if i do win i get a great time out of it but damn it ive had to use gems twice now when i just couldnt even get close.
the worst part is getting matched up against other usernames on this forum. Thats when you instantly know its going to be a struggle!

Like anba? Nope. I've been robbed by anba for hundreds of gems skipping glitched riders. No more for me. Until they force me to use anba again.
