Experience teamplay within a clan. You can!

    Hi all,

As the title says playing a game alone, with other pretty anonymous gamers is REALLY different from playing that game with friends.
Friends you can hear (microphone), to try teamplay with, challenge your skills in tournaments, but especially make it much more FUN to play.
What I describe is what a clan player is all about. Making (international) friends who play same game and having fun.

TAW is such a clan. We are huge. The current number of members is 2461 people.
But TAW plays almost all the big games in pretty separate groups, but with central leadership.
There is also a Far Cry group where I am member of.

We are always on the lookout for new eager members so our internal (TAW) tournaments, scrimm against other clans, mapcontests etc. will become even better.
Because we feel that the more members we have the more exciting the TAW events will become.

If you are interested visit our website: www.taw.net
On the upper rightside corner press "Join now".
Register there and please fillin a working email adress and we will contact you soon (check your spamfilter if you dont hear anything)

Only you must be 15 years or older, and be ready to play FC3 regularly because we play twice a week.
It is 100% free and you dont have to be a good player.
Maybe this all sounds much, but when you join you'll hate it when our 'trainings' is over because you want to keep playing. Promise.

So dont hesitate and check out www.taw.net
Be part of the biggest gaming community in the World - TAW!

    See you soon !!

What's the point of that ?

At the end, it was downright impossible just to play with 2-3 friends in a good match, let alone a series of matches. FarCry3 multiplayer makes actual clangames downright impossible, either the game will just crash to Desktop, a host migration cascade will either destroy the match, randomly kick masses of players or just ends up being unplayable/buggy - if UPlay allows your party to completely join a match in the first place, which it usually doesn't.

FC3 is about the worst multiplayer game thinkable for clans or any group of players to play - it's nothing short of nearly impossible thanks to UbiSoft's comletely failed P2P Multiplayer system.

Actually the only time host migrations happen is on public matches. During the clan match, the person hosting doesn't leave, nor does any other player, which causes the host migration. We are often able to host full 18 player games, except if less than 18 players join, that is the only reason why it wouldn't be a full lobby. There is no problem going from one large group match to another, all we do is join on the person hosting to get to the next session. It can be a bit of a pain to have to constantly leave the old Match lobby and join the new lobby, but this is because there is no map rotation list. If you don't believe us, then try it out and see for yourself. You don't have to stay if you don't think it is for you, but you might just want to stick around longer.

"Each TAW member must participate in a minimum of two (2) mandatory events per week lasting at minimum one (1) hour each."

This is why I don't join your clan. It all sounds great, but I don't want to be forced to play games if real life (work, family, holidays etc) interferes.

We all have real life situations that can interfere with any scheduled events, in that situation all you have to do is submit an excusal for that date. This is done by simply filling out a quick box that you wont be able to attend that date for what ever reason. You don't have to disclose any reason for the absence, this is just a courtesy to let the higher up's know you won't be attending. TAW is an active member only clan, anyone who doesn't attend for a prolonged period, and does not submit excusals, will have their membership reviewed and possibly terminated. Trust me, I have my fair share of excusals, and sometimes I forget to submit one. (SORRY SHARKY ,LOL). I myself am only able to attend 1 session per week because my work schedule interferes with one of the sessions. We are very understanding of life situations as most of us have families and children, work demands and such. It's all about having fun but family will always come first.
