I have not seen anybody comment about this but I have noticed from the last update they have done away with the 100 plus gems to skip an upgrade time.
most of my upgrades seem to cost around 20 odd gems to skip only issue being the cost of the damn upgrade now 300k is crazy really for the rate I which you can gather coins.

I no longer have ANBA as a source of coins because of my track times im against the top 10 now and I think im at my upgrade/ skill limit with those guys but I will keep at it.

Confirmed. 35 gems per item to skip 215 hours. If I really wanted it bad enough, I might consider it; before the gem cost was ridiculously out of reach.

that's my thoughts now exactly its a hell of a lot easier to save up 20-30 gems than say 100 plus and if your trying to beat a time or gain a medal on a track you have the option of not waiting so long for the upgrade. on the flip side I do tend to forget about the upgrades I have bought so most of the time I do allow the 3-5 days to pass without even noticing. now if only they would maybe reduce the cost of things for people who are more dedicated to their leaderboard position and they might be a more fair reflection as well with everyone having the same amount of tracks.

im 10th at the moment but I know im only in that position because the better riders don't have all the tracks I do but its nice being there all the same.

I just upgrade my phantom frame to level 3 to check and its a 48 hour upgrade and my gems to skip it are just 19 so I guess that means it is different for android and ios.

I never use gems on upgrades, but it still sucks that android gets the shaft. Wonder what else is different.

Android is one release behind IOS, that's why. The same prev tracks (trash tops, etc).... And the same bugs too...they didn't even try to fix them.

I can't really afford upgrades any more. I've earned about 120,000 coins since the last update. That barely covers the cost of a single upgrade. They need to increase the coins you get from racing tracks. I used a coin magnet last night and I was barely making 200 per track. The Slot Machine at 90 minutes and ANBA ruining my fun have hugely impacted my ability to grind coins.

Once my leaderboard is where it should be I'm thinking I'll put the game down.

I also find that coins are my issue now. Since the last update, I only race tracks that give a lot of coins because of the speed bug on Android. It'll be nice when I go back and start upgrading some of the bikes I don't use as often, because the upgrades will be cheaper.

If you're looking for decent tracks to use your magnet on, Sewage Treatment gets your over 500. I think Tanktops puts you around 494.
