    Having problems with checkpoints

Si ive created a small technical track that goes back on itself and im having issues with the checkpoints my ninth checkpoint is technically my first checkpoint and my six and seventh checkpoint are technically my 4th and 5th checkpoint because the track goes back on itself. My track is basically done its just this checkpoint issue that i need to fix. Is there anyway i can change the order that the checkpoints go off . Foe example my ninth checkpoint is the closes checkpoint to the start line is there anyway i can change this to my ninth. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hey mate, had this problem on a evo track. pretty annoying.
Here is a not so pretty work around. Might need some tweaking. Adjust the variable data source to suit checkpoint number.
Oh and be sure to turn off the upper area trigger from bailout or crash otherwise riders can glitch it by bailing out. forgot to add it in.

I'm having this same checkpoint problem and twitch video doesn't work anymore but I found this nice guide https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1...exAo4p34c/edit
My situation is just like in the link above. First and second checkpoint are wrong way around becuse the second one is closer to start point.
I think I've done everything else right but how can I link variable data source to generic filter? that green line which says comparison value 2. I just don't get it....

hi, driving lines that overlap because it goes back on itself can be tricky to get functioning in the correct order, i found you can to some degree get this to work by dragging and following the line with the CP, its tricky as it likes to jump to the other side, bare in mind also that the check point should be on the other side of the line too.

To link the generic filter's comparison value to the variable data source, go into the filters properties then hover over comparison value 2 and press Y for xbox then select the variable data source. For other controllers just look at the bottom of the screen for the tooltips to see which button it is when hovering over the comparison value 2.
Let me know if that was what you were after.

Yeah, thanks man! now the checkpoints work fine but now there is new problem. When I pass this second checkpoint and hit back button, rider respawns to checkpoint like it should but it freezes completely. I can't lean with left stick at all but gas and brake buttons work but bike is frozen stuck!?! Any ideas what is causing this freezing?

This is NEARLY always due to the [Frozen] checkbox for the bike or rider being turned on and not being switched off on checkpoint restart. Check the rider and bike properties for frozen.
I would also modify that google docs guide --> [player event reset to checkpoint] --> [reset physics ON] [increase faults OFF]
