Balancing act skill game replays broken
After getting 14th in the world on the balancing act skill game on the PC version, I was very disappointed to find that my replay didn't work. After checking some more replays it seems that all replays which go past a certain point (i'm not sure which point though) are incomplete. It seems that you have to go a fair amount beyond the long steep white pillar for this bug to occur, but I don't know how much. The bug occurs with the first two bikes in the list for sure. It may occur with the others but i haven't reached that point with them yet
To reproduce the bug:
- set a very good score on the balancing act skill game (at least beyond the long slow climb up the white pillar).
I understand if you simply don't know, but do you have any idea if the old replays will work again after the bug is fixed?

Hi Reaper
Thanks for your report.
I just tried to watch your replay and it's indeed broken after 350m point.
We will investigate it, so don't worry.

I believe the problem is with uploading the replays to the leaderboard or downloading them from the leaderboard, because viewing the replay straight after the run is done does not seem to give any problems. This was a run where I got to ~1850 feet (the entrance of the cave part of the track).

Hello,
I think there is a limit to the size of the replay we can store, we'll check with engineers.
I heard discussions about that months ago, I am not exactly sure of the details.
Cheers,

I doubt that the size limit is the problem because there are other tracks where the replay can run on for a very long time. The #2 score on the ice hill climb stage on the PC has a problem-free replay. The #1 score does stop prematurely, but a very long way down the track.
However, if it is caused by exceeding the size limit, is it possible to increase this limit for certain tracks, or is that not possible. I don't know what ubisoft's replay size limits are like, but if it is possible to readjust some of the allocation to the skill games that would be very helpful, since that is where the larger file size is likely to be needed
