Have you ever been to a real life location from AC? | Forums

Just curious. RinoTheBouncer mentioned in another thread that he's been to Paris and we occasionally get newbies posting vacation photos from Italy or someplace. Who else here has ever been to a real location from one (or more) of the AC games? If you haven't but could, which city would you choose?

I went to Paris on my honeymoon. Sadly we didn't get to go inside the Notre Dame, only saw it from a distance. We did go inside the Louvre but I don't know if that'll be in Unity. Took a boat ride along the Seine, so I'm looking forward to seeing the surrounding area again in the game. I also climbed the Eiffel tower, but of course that won't be in ACU either.

If I could visit another place from the AC universe someday, I would most like to go to Tuscany, my favorite city in AC2.

Why yes I have. Last year I toured through Italy by motorcycle and visited pretty much every AC location, except for Forli.
I have a thread about it somewhere..

Venice - one of the most beautiful cities ever! AC 2 did an awesome job at replicating the city.

Yes . I've been to Firenze, Venice en San Gimignano for a schooltrip in my final year of high school. I visited it in April 2010 several months after the release of ACII. It was beautiful and so accurate!

I'm going on vacation to Jamaica after I graduate. Venice and Rome are also on my "go-to" list.

Grew up in Istanbul. They did a good job with the city in ACR.

Oh, and I've been to Paris once. Though that was so bloody long ago I hardly even remember it...
