I would think you guys would want that feature out asap.

Then again, I personally never cared about MP on evo and dont plan to get into it for fusion, I am talking in terms of appeasing the masses...
    Hello Jook13,

Yes, we want this feature asap. But it needs to be done properly and it also take time. The people working on the Feature Pack "Teams" are not the same as the ones working on the Feature Pack "Multiplayer". So the Feature Pack "Teams" is not delaying the Feature Pack "Multiplayer". It's just as Teams will be finished first, we'll release it first.

More information on what we are working on here:

Dont get me wrong, getting it done properly is most important. I am a fairly patient guy... I just figured putting more resources towards MP would be a higher priority move... then again I have zero experience running a game company with hundreds of employees...

Online MP is really important, but you can't just throw more people at it and make it happen quicker... Brook's Law and all of that. If you continue to add people to a project, you will eventually reach a point where the addition of more people is not only unhelpful, but becomes detrimental to a project. Like if you have 25 people all trying to work on taking an engine out of a car at the same time. Eventually people are just in the way of everyone else and the actual work ends up taking far longer than if you just had 5 people doing it, instead of 1/5th the time that just the numbers would dictate.

I would greatly appreciate some private funding to investigate these claims. This is some serious science.... and this sort of science needs to be taken seriously. I will need hotel money...um... money to buy drinks and a suitable location. Vegas? It seems like the only sensible answer.

Yea but I doubt all the multiplayer devs are crammed around a single computer taking turns on the keyboard.

While im sure there is some capacity where adding more devs no longer yields more results, with redlynx being a smaller studio... i doubt they are anywhere close to reaching ti.

    MP

Well, they already got the money for the Trials game, Steam store page says that there IS multiplayer in the game and people will assume that it exists and will buy the game in the future. That's the reason they are not in a hurry to release it for us. I mean, they will release 2 DLC's and not fix what's missing in the base game. "Wow" is everything I have to say.

    @ En0-:

My 2 cents on MP -- it should be done right and not rushed. I agree. I just hope the dev's working on the MP realize that the longer it takes to make, the better it should be. Hopefully you aren't making people wait 5, 6, or 7 months for a MP that isn't worth playing. With all that time I can only imagine the thought and beauty RL/UBI could bring to the table to make MP one of a kind. On the other hand, if it was released early, and was pretty basic and standard, and had a few (FEW) bugs, no big deal...sort out the bugs and this conversation wouldn't be taking place.

How about actually waiting to release a game when its finished and stop releasing half baked goods. The gaming community is becoming sick of it. I picked this up for Xbox One and on the case it states online multiplayer 1-4 players just like the last one I presumed. Get home and nothing, its pathetic selling half finished products.

So stop the pompous replies like your doing people a favour and get it out to the people who have already paid you their hard earned money for something which is missing what is for many the most important feature and your selling it teling people it comes with multiplayer as per the box.

Deceit and lies and deception seems to be the traits required to now work in the games industry.
