If anything FC3's map was bigger than it needed to be. Especially on the 2nd island there were alot of places I never spent any time around...

^Exactly. There was so much to explore, but I pretty much sticked to the story, instead of exploring.
TBH FC2 map wasn't small either. If compared to the FC3, then it is small, but if we had the grapple or the winsuit, it would be a lot better.
Now iwe can climb mountains, in FC4
    It's gonna be crazy

With Far Cry 2 there were areas where it was difficult to get out of the water and lots of slopes we could not walk up - Far Cry 3 was much more accessible, vehicles were quicker so we covered areas faster - Far Cry 2 gave us a sense of "I am lost" where FC3 allowed us to get to the top of hills and mountains where we could get our bearings - I agree that the second Island in FC3 was bland (maybe felt a little rushed) but I still did a lot of exploring although it felt a little dull / empty at times. I hope FC4 has so much more life and things to do to keep the game going after completion.

exploration and secret areas are what makes Far Cry games unique..! There is so many square feet lost in those montains, I just hope Ubisoft found a way to use that space for exploration. tons of Caverns and secret galleries....climbable paths to reach to get a lost letters or an artifact or a treasor... etc....

Well said Fallen Champ. What I'd really like to see in FC4 are the Random events. FC2 and FC3 had lots of side missions, but it's an a half an interesting as the primary missions, not to mention when you finish the game.
So I'd like to see more story in those missions and interesting events, that could change the story.

So instead of looking for a man in the weapons bar, who is gonna send you to take down the convoy, wouldn't it be more interesting to simply explore the world (when you are not on a mission) and then you see a truck or a some person and games tells you - "Destroy the convoy" or "Terminate the target."
It's not just about searching for a woman in the village and later searching for a crashed plane, it's about, for instance, riding a jeep and civilian tells you to stop and tells you her story. Then you can decide whether you are gonna do it or not.

Then game could reflect that. Like when you destroy the convoy and come back to the village, someone comes to you and says - "I've seen what you've done over there. Nice job."
It's simple line and I could be implemented for terminating someone, destroying anything or even rescuing somebody.

I think players would like that. I actually would. IMO it's so much better than traveling around the map to get the side mission.
So everything you do, can earn you reputation.
For instance, since people know you and then you decide not to help them, that reflects as well and then people say stuff like - "You've changed."
And If I didn't destroyed that convoy, I find the outpost that is retaken by the Pegan's men.

I like this idea, very Skyrim like, but those sort of random events make you want to continue on with the mission as you often want to find out more about what's happened

Is that the figure that comes with the Kyrat special edition - not really my kind of thing but I can see how collectors would maybe like it.

    I like the Rpg.
Everything is really well made, but I wouldn't buy this. Why would I want to have a Pegan? I'd rather get myself Vaases head
