Yo hes, had the pleasure of catching up on your ps4 creations recently.

    Limbus Puerorum (Fixed)
wow just wow, I am a sucker for this style and you absolutely nailed it! So damn impressed with this track and it is the reason I am posting to you in the first place!

    Spacium
Simply enjoyed this one, it looks great. I didn't feel like speed running it so just cruised. The skate park theme is solid and the addition of stunt pegs are a nice touch, really enjoyed those.

    Mare Crisium
Already grinded on PC as it was ported. Epic: sounds, deco, driveline.
The broken English in the description is a bit disconcerting.

    Black Dahlia

Man, this track, fun DL to get smooth and very nice visuals.
The only thing I didn't like was the very start bhop. It was a bit unclear where the DL was to bhop as it seemed that I was half on a petal, ie the where is the drivable surface/collision?

    Metropolis

Well implemented camera effect. I would consider having the music turned off and maybe even the bike and or rider sounds.
I didn't enjoy the DL as much but this was because I could not get a smooth line due to the input lag on the TV.

    Rosa Lutea(Fixed)

Really nice deco again. I would have enjoyed it more without the input lag.

    Cheers for the great tracks!

    Hello,

Amazing looking tracks HES92! Limbus looks like Limbo so much. I saw Redlynx play Limbus on a stream a few weeks ago. Very good job!

All your tracks are amazing! I wish I could play them, but I am on X1...

    Keep up the good work!

    P.S. Nightlife looks awesome!

Just wow man thanks for the reply, it's really useful to get feedback. If i may ask what do you mean with input lag, is the track lagging while driving it?

    Limbus Puerorum
Thanks it took a while to build, but love the end result, i'm even considering to build another track in this style. Not the limbo theme, but just the 2D style.

    Mare Crisium
I watched pirates of the caribean xD and was like that could be in the discription. The four dots should have been like "f*ck it you can drive underwater.", but thought it was better to use the dots. I'm Dutch and my English ain't perfect, but well it's just a small thing on an awesome track right?

    Black Dahlia
I indeed watched some replays, but also friends playing and noticed that I could have added a platform or delete the fail area. Wish i was able to add this without uploading a fixed version. (Hate to do that.) Might consider it to fix it.

    Metropolis
This track just really killed me from the inside, it was almost done and then an error occurred, which made my save corrupt and had to start all over @#$%^&. It was my first track uploaded and I wouldn't compare it to the tracks I lately uploaded, but yeah its one of my created tracks and I learned from it.

Thanks for the feedback, it's really helpfull and nice to hear/ read someone like my tracks. To create decoration and how I call it a sound system is not that hard, but I'm always struggling to create a flowing or challenging driveline, for me it feels like gambling when creating a driveline, it's just the hardest thing to do in my opinion, but again thanks for the comment

Thanks I decided to make the jump from my x360 to ps4 and not planning to buy a X1, but it's nice to know you like my tracks. I'm hoping Limbus Puerorum(Fixed version) will be crossplatform that would be nice . I think you mean "Nightall" and yes it's fun to build, still hard to create a nice driveline, but while the Destiny beta is playable the release will probably be delayed haha.

Added a work in progress section in the first post from the thread, a video from "Nihilum" and replaced the video's from "Black Dahlia, Metropolis and Rosa Lutea(Fixed)" for a youtube link.

Hi HES92. I just wanted to say I really like the visual design of your tracks. If I were to give you one constructive piece of constructive criticism though, it would be to focus on your driving line first and foremost. Some of your tracks succeed in this regard, while some do not. There were moments of confusion on some tracks, where I wasn't sure what was an obstacle, and what wasn't. Sometimes the visuals got in the way of the driving. My favorite track of yours so far is Mare Crisium.

Hi Tigerriot, I know the driveline is probably the most important thing in a trials track. Creating objects or decoration is not that hard for me and fun to do, thats mainly the reason why I start with those. Just like I said the hardest part for me is creating a nice driveline and proper obstacles to drive.

But your feedback is welcome , after watching some replays from different drivers I already noticed that it's not clear for some what to do in a specific situation (example in "spacium" the backflip in second halfpipe), I could have put I sign there to make it easier to understand and take away the confusion, but I didn't. You could say it's not properly build or get extra motivated to adjust to the driveline to get a better time, I noticed a lot of players just run a track only once, so this really depends on the player.

I can tell you that when there are some visuals blocking the driveline for a short moment it's on purpose, I see it as creating dept. Sure everybody has there opinions and some like it more than others, but that is normal when creating something . I will be building more tracks of course and there will be more focus on the driveline, but still thats the hardest part for me when creating.

    Hey
nuh the input lag has nothing to do with the track. The lag is from the televisions input lag and maybe the wireless controller. I am so used to PC that when I change to console that the slight game lag difference is difficult to adjust to!
