    I had 3 360 wired controllers where the left stick had "wandered" to the left, rider would constantly sit back with zero input! Managed to shift them to CEX for £6 each if I remember correctly! They do test them but only for working input and not the accuracy of!

    My DS4 right trigger just went, could be fixed by using metal instead of the plastic spindle they have used.

    I got tired of buying new controllers, so i bought a soldering iron/desoldering iron at radioshack and repaired all my old controllers after watching a youtube video. You could probably have all those controllers working like new with about $5 in parts off ebay and 20 minutes of work.

    Its incredibly easy to do, and i felt like a dolt for not trying to fix them earlier.

    Yeah I had actually repaired the white one in the middle at one point. They all have wandering sticks from crap built up in the guts of the L sticks...I just couldn't/ can't be bothered doing it.
