Truly flat
Hi. I need to completely flatten a piece of ground. The flatten terrain modification lessens the definition of the bumps but they are still there. I'm trying to put a flat section on the side of a hill. Is this even possible?

Under the flatten terrain modification object properties, change the "Height Type" from "Height" to "Flatten". Then make the height as high as possible (I'm not sure what platform your on, but on Consoles you hold down the Right Trigger to do this). This should make the terrain Truly Flat. To adjust where it flattens the land to, lower the Terrain Modification in the world; basically move it downwards. This will give you Truly Flat terrain.

Thanks for this. I messed around with the terrain tool for ages, but don't think I tried the way you suggested. Much appreciated as I couldn't finish my track without this. I'd used the grass ramps for the ground thinking the white lines wouldn't look so bad, but it really really does!
Really annoyed they have removed bubbles from the effects too. Though I should have checked this before make a whole section of my track underwater!
