Radioactive sludge?
Any Ideas on how to go about this? I was thinking I'd have some barrels that had tipped over and there was a glowing green sludge that the rider drove through. Now I was having issues because I can't find anything that is glowing. >,< Which really isn't a big help. Hopefully it's an object that you can set the opacity of and then change the color of. I figured using water might work, and placing a light might give a reflection off of the water, which didn't do a thing.
Best way to think of it is like Lava, if you've made a level that has lava or magma in it, how did you make it glow?
Much appreciated!

howdy
many objects have an emissions option in there colour properties which can be used to set a fuzzy glow around the object. the best objects for this are the prime set from the general objects, but to see the fuzzy effect you need to make some modifications to the environment settings and maybe the camera too.
under the track settings->environment->custom settings->time of day there is a humidity setting, if you adjust this it will make objects with emissions glow a little, to exaggerate this effect open up the active cameras advance settings and at the bottom of the list is depth of field settings, try setting it to custom 200meters and both near and far to ~12 each, just give it a small amount of fuzz.
to make it look like your riding through the goo, open the primes advance physics and make them decoration only and use other objects (ie custom collisions) to drive over.
also from the decorations menu under common there are rectangle, round, special, these all have emissions values but if the value is low it changes the opacity too, these are a little buggy as the only way to get the colour correct in the editor is to 1st set the colour and then copy the object!

This is perfect thank you! Although I actually figured it out shortly after I had posted this. If you're on ps4 you should try my track out when I finish it! Or maybe it will be so good that it will be a Cross Platform track haha
