Yes, the futuristic and glossy look of the game was meant to pull in a younger demographic, which tends to be the casual market. The ATV was clearly intended for the casuals. The FMX ruined leaderboard integrity (I know there has been a "free update" to it). How could it have been better? By fixing the problems that have been plaguing Trials since HD. Tire glitches/collision issues, broken replays, and making glitching runs more difficult/better management of glitched runs would be a good start. Tire glitches have somehow gotten even worse, there is frame rate/freezing issues, Uplay is broken, no online multiplayer, and no tournaments.
Evolution v3 (I guess we skipped v2?) would be a much better game than Fusion. Call of Duty proves that you don't need to "evolve" a game to keep selling. Halo and Gears of War prove that "evolving" a game can destroy the series. Ubisoft letting Redlynx go would be a dream come true. It's a win-win. Either we'd get another low-budget gem like HD, or it would die before the future games were able to ruin the legacy of its predecessors. Ubisoft is the worst thing to happen to Trials.
It wasn't a protest. It was my honest opinion about the DLC, the state of Trials, and the future of Trials.
My signature is a humorous exaggeration of my opinion on Fusion. Get a sense of humor.

As I have stated earlier, Uplay is the greatest evil of this game, FMX does nothing for me and there are glitches and features missing. Welcome to next gen, which is the same as the beginning of the last next generation and the one before that. Stuff is rushed and in turn bug ridden and missing features. The ability to patch something to reach the market early is abused.
I just do not see Fusion as the great downfall of Redlynx. There is a big difference between a niche game like Trials and the shooters you mentioned. Event the "destroyed" ones you mentioned were multi-million sellers, so I think your grasp on something being "destroyed" is a bit off. Seeing as a new GOW game is in the works and the Halo MC Collection and Halo 5 are on their way.

As for the signature, I guess some people consider suicide hilarious, not me and I have a pretty good sense of humor.
Not much to add. I was never expecting each dlc to match the size of evo's or even hd's, but I was hoping for just a tad more. If the sum of the season pass content at least matches both dlcs from evo I will consider this reasonable value as I do understand the previous dlc arrangement was not sustainable.
For me the selection and usefulness of the included editor pieces will make or break this dlc. One thing I hope Red Lynx can focus on in "future" is to ensure as many pieces as possible have ridable surfaces that don't glitch out where practical.
One other thing...I know I am getting ahead of myself here, but something tells me this season pass is potentially a season 1 with a season 2 to come? Would I be wrong in assuming this is a possibility?
I see it as the beginning of the downfall. It's not necessarily an awful game, it just shows what business practices Redlynx will participate in, and what audience they choose to cater to. Compared to their prime; those shooters are a shell of their former selves. Game developers need to learn from other game developers' mistakes. Call of Duty has maintained its consistent sales by making sensible improvements, tweaks, and additions.Originally Posted by BDSooner72 Go to original post
I don't consider it hilarious. The idea of ending my life before playing something that was created for the purpose of entertainment is ironic and humorous, in my opinion.
Andy Kaufman you are not.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post

Guys, the trash talking to eachother has to stop, as does the hating on Redlynx/Ubisoft. Why are you even complaining that it's not like Evo? WELL OF COURSE IT'S NOT LIKE EVO, IT'S A DIFFERENT GAME! No not everything is perfect, nothing is. You can damn well be sure that they are working their asses off right now on patches, and the features we all want. If you can't be patient go play a different game.
Complaining and fighting will not fix the game, it will not get you what you want, it won't make time go faster, it won't make Ubisoft ditch Redlynx.
It's ridiculous seeing everyone on this forum act like kids (If any of your are I meant no offense).
The best we can do as gamers, is just report the bugs to them, give our suggestions for the upcoming DLC's and patches and overall get along. The dev's come here for input from the gamers, and all the gamers do is ***** and complain. I've seen numerous cases of people being rude to eachother, Ubisoft personnel, Redlynx employees, forum members and even ducks; and it doesn't accomplish a thing.
So, since this thread is about the DLC, why not focus on the fact that there is DLC on it's way? There are a few people on the forums here that I consider decent, and many of you should follow that example and try to at least be kind. We're all here because we like Trials games, so let's just work together and help the devs make the best game they can, eachother make the best tracks, and the best times.
-Rant over.
