Don't forget MCC (Master Chief Collection). There probably will be more people on that alone than the entire list you just put up. #JustSayin

You're right though. The timing couldn't be worse. Although ill admit, that tag-team MP racing got me curious. Might play it for a day or two. Who wants to run with me?!

I didn't think I'd add much to 17 pages, but here it goes:
    Welcome to the future

I've said it all along, challenges/fmx have sucked a tremendous amount of resources up...neither make Trials a better experience. Most challenges, you play once and are done. Considering this would be a 4 platform game, the focus should have been on the CORE experience, not gimmicks and tricks. Redlynx used to deliver a TON of content for a low cost. You would be delusional to be unhappy with any DLC purchase, etc.
Today, it's not about the $20...though some are bent on that...it's not much money for 6, one quarter sized dlcs. The issue comes with the timing. Sure, developers are continually improving the game, but by the time multiplayer and other content is out, very few will have continued interest.

This current DLC is not even a debatable topic, honestly. I'm sure the 6 tracks are great, but in the end...it's just 6 tracks. Challenges are useless...yes, useless. It's fun for a second, then gets old. What made/makes Trials great, is the constant running of traditional track and improving times....sounds funny to say, but it seems this was overlooked as to why your game is so successful.

Last, the non disclosure "can't talk about this new feature" only adds to the let downs. 2 months for pyrosequencing (translation=place holder for next feature) only to release tournaments for XP points that do zero for you. Waiting 3 months for a DLC with 6 real tracks and 50 objects? Come on.

Even though the above comments simply point out the obvious shortcomings...it's not necessarily a negative bashing, just an honest appraisal the majority here seem to share.
I don't even bother with recommendations and ideas, simply due to the fact there is NO way they'll be implemented. I'll note, if the TEAM feature is track building...I slam my foot in my mouth, however..I'm guessing it'll be another Pyrosequencing, set JJ on fire, then release.....tournaments?

If I were a multimillionaire, which I'm not...shocking I know, most millionaires spend their time on forums.....I would buy Redlynx from Ubisoft, then say RUN WITH IT. I would lay any amount of money Redlynx is frustrated at their situation. It's nice to have more advertising and cash, but Redlynx....wouldn't you rather have a little bit less, but be remembered by many as the best developer out there?...or at least one of.

I'm curious also, as to who it the number one guy in charge on this game? Developers are simply doing their job and executing what is asked of them. And thanks for being a small part of the forums. It's almost like being on the Titanic and saying, "You don't understand...the iceberg wasn't visible 40 meters ago.." It must be rough defending certain peoples bad calls.

The first DLC that arrived for Trials Evolution cost $5 and included 36 TRACKS.

This is actually making me kinda sad, because I've loved these games over the years, but Red Lynx really lost my respect with this nonsense. My friends and I are not buying the DLC, and we're not happy with how Fusion has been rolled out since day one. Even the base game was $5 more expensive than Evolution, and delivered less. I've never posted on these forums before, but I had to let Red Lynx know this was the last straw for me. :/
Oooh but don't forget it contains an FMX track! (the most despised feature/mode in Trials history)

I tried to read through all pages in this thread to search for some info on the DLC that isn't in the UbiBlog post, but everyone was just talking about the 6 tracks.

So I just wanted to ask a couple questions. I'm sure you can't even talk about 90% of them, but I'll try anyway.

    1. How many objects are included in Riders of the Rustlands? (20+ or 100+ objects?)
    2. Are new sounds/sound loops (for the Editor) included in the DLC?
    3. Will there be any new Menu music, Career music, or Editor music?
    4. Do Riders of the Rustlands take place in a new world? (Is there a new world to work with in the Editor?)
    5. Are there any new tool cards for the Editor? (Things like the Retargeters and Vectors from Trials Evolution DLC)
    6. Are all the new Tracks confined to a single event in the Career?
    7. Will DLC Tracks be mixed with standard tracks in the tournaments?
    8. Is there any new menu background art? (ex the main menu with the Rider sitting on his bike)
    9. Any info available on the Update that is with the DLC? (Bug Fixes, Track Central Improvements, etc.)
    10. Will Track builders have access to game music as a "sound loop" object? (ex Falling for Ages as a sound loop)
    11. What's the average length of the tracks in Riders of the Rustlands?
    12. Will there ever be a Giga-track again? (I know some people didn't like it, but I enjoyed seeing the scenery)

    Can't wait for the 29th!

-- woke up-- to forums-- read forums again---
few points: Just played today night all new tracks at work again. Way more stuff to do than Evo. More depth, way longer, more stuff to discover, solid theme, good objects, driving line that makes you want to retry retry and tune your technics, FUN (vegas said.. they are just "fun". Its game that is supposed to be "fun" sometimes ). Coming soon, next even sooner, same time, free features (new tournament.. not copying old, teams (this is freaking good for all hardcore riders)), fixes to TC to base game. 100 people working still on game. day and night.
--- continue .. i have to pack and start trip to Austin. 3 days 50+ hours flights. Monday back to work ----

I would give you all trials heroes a rubber duck personally, just for sake your all here and care about game! It is visible and that means alot. Even your sometimes not happy. We and you all care what we do. Both.

(Chuckle) Clearly you have a very thick aura of sheer positive Happyness (with perhaps a healthy dose of denial?) around you. Gotta say, I kinda wish I had your POV about MY work. Having played the EVO DLC too, and seeing the comparisons to the new stuff... just dont see how this can be true. But hey, I havent played it yet, so its not even a proper judgement yet on my part. Maybe I just need more drugs.... time will tell.

    I want to add a bit to what ANBA said;

In Trials HD the DLC tracks were great, but there wasn't a real theme. In Evolution there was the same thing, there was loads of content, but it didn't all fit together into a cohesive idea. It was more like "here are a bunch of tracks for the sake of having a bunch of tracks".

With Trials Fusion, each DLC has a theme, there is a sense of story that runs through the game when you start from the beginning and continue through to DLC. Maybe I focus on community a bit much, and I hope I don't offend my Level Design homies in the studio, but for me the best part of the DLC will be getting the new editor pieces into the hands of the community. The number of creators out there is insane, and you keep getting better. Previously with Trials DLC there are a couple of DLCs, and those have some new pieces. Both of the announced DLCs, Riders of the Rustlands and Empire of the Sky, have different themes, with new editor pieces that meet those themes. I would expect the other DLCs to follow suit. This will give Track Creators 7 different themes to work with at the end of the DLC season, which will allow for your content to shine.

You constantly blow us away with the brilliant concepts that you take from thought to publication on Track Central, or as ANBA puts it "It's mad what you make". User Generated content has been the driving force behind Trials for quite a while now. We know that TC needs some edges smoothed out, and we have some things coming that you guys will certainly be relieved/happy to see, but please don't zero in on 6 Trials tracks and see that as the main aspect of the DLC. Give us a chance to show you what you will be getting, and keep in mind that YOUR content will always be one of the pillars of Trials.

We have ideas for elevating the best user content to more prolific standing in Trials Fusion and we will get into that a little later, but for now our focus is on the next title update, Riders of the Rustlands, and the upcoming Teams Feature. We have more planned for Trials Fusion than for any past Trials game, with DLC support and features and updates.... It's a full year's worth of stuff, guys.

I know I've said it a lot lately, but we appreciate all of your feedback, all of the suggestions, and all of the passion you have for Trials. I can't wait to see what you create and how you play in the next few months.

    One question....how many objects roughly?
And nice skill game with the alley oop basketball dunk. I don't like these types of skill games, but had some fun on this one.

That's a great question.... that I can't answer as I am at home and don't have the DLC on my personal machines. There's a good variety though. I am a fan of the power cables as shown in the screenshots.

    That was Shogun....

We had a little rivalry going where we would make "improved" (read; crappy) versions of common skill games and reference each other. That dunk game was actually fun, and people requested it a few times on the streams, so we made it cross platform.
