I'm sorry to say, you don't understand why we're playing your game.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
+1, a couple of nice objects in there but also a whole big buch of stuff we already have, this would have been a nice touch if it didnt seem like the majority and if accompanied by a much larger amount of objects that we havent seen. im very disapointed if im honest, i thought we was getting extra land too to fit the rustlands theme, i told shifty i thought the land was smaller then evo's even tho advertised to be bigger and he replied that it is but only if you know how to delete the water - yeah ok whatever - just admit that it is actually smaller map surrounded by masses of water to appear bigger. tracks are good but you already know that we ALL think there are not enough, couldnt care about the challenges personally although i do think they are a nice touch to accompany a track but again its the majority- more challenges and achievements then actual tracks to play which says this was aimed more towards your new type of gamers rather then your TRUE trials fans. Am i the only 1 here disapointed with the content? and WHERE THE HELL is any wood yet? i dont know why but i fully expected to get a whole buch of wooden objects with this dlc but Nothing????? What the hell?Originally Posted by LethalGangsta82 Go to original post
here is a bit of honesty from me that you CAN rely on - i will not be buying anymore dlc for this game until a wood selection is promissed and even if advertised to do so i will still wait to here from a reliable source that you delivered the goods b4 i buy it. i dont expect that Empier of the sky dlc will be having any wood so it looks like im already bypassing that dlc such a shame but i'll bypass them all if each is the case. ....... very disapointed guys![]()
I've only been with Trials for about a year now so I don't really know what a good driving line is (I dislike those bouncy physics objects though), but I can tell you the map is technically bigger. You can run the test yourself, by taking dummy objects to the border of the map and checking their coordinates. In Trials Evolution the base world was around ~3400 x ~2400 I think? Don't have the exact measurements, but in Fusion it's about ~4000 x ~4000. It is actually the same size as the Riders of Doom map (the desert) as that is also ~4000 x ~4000. I believe ~4000 x ~4000 has always been the true Game Engine limit in all Trials Games, but in older games you couldn't get past the artificial borders created for your camera. You can tell this by turning the fog down and render distance up on Crash County (the base world for Trials Evolution). If you look past the mountains you can see more mountains that look like they can be ridden on, but you can't get to. I suspect that could of been used, but we just couldn't access them. In Trials Fusion I discovered a way to remove those barriers but because the map is already ~2000 x ~2000 you can't really tell the difference. You can read more about how to do that here on my post --> http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...or-Tips-Tricks
I am also disappointed by the lack of wood. That was a pretty big mistake of leaving the "Wood Ramps" in the article about Riders of Rustlands. I pray that it was a true mistake. If I ever learn someone put that there intentionally to sway opinion of the DLC.... I will be mighty upset; but I'll be optimistic for now. I have however, spotted some wood in screen shots of the Empire of the Sky DLC. Check out the 1st, 3rd, and 5th picture --> http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ky-screenshots (for some reason the Empire of the Sky pics look like little X's but they will still work if you click on them)

thanks for pointing out the aparent wood in the next dlc i hadnt seen those pics which is great news hopefully. as for the map size tho m8 i did know that it was actually bigger because i spoke to shifty about it in this thread, my point is that while the map dimensions are bigger the map has an extremely large amount of water which is a cop out imo, shifty replied that as someone already pointed out the water can be removed if you know how - this is also a copout imo, some dont know how to and also there are no trees grass mountings under the sea so it will look very bland. imho there is not as much land to build on compared to evo even tho we wer led to believe this by the advertising of a promised significantly bigger map
