And to all others, calm down! They (RL) got the message loud and clear. From the beginning they tried to explain how they want to gets Fusion grown over its lifetime. Sure, we all wanted a solid game as usually. Redlynx planed a little bit different and maybe they didn't reach there goals before releasing. But hey, i think its good that they tried something new. That's what everybody wants who create something. You wan't to try something different to make it better. But you can also fault in some of your attempts. Never forget, they at Redlynx are a bunch of masterminds and they will deliver. They always did.
And for myself... i was dissapointed too and the issues on Track Central drives me crazy. Also waiting for feedback was horrible. But now i'm fine so far. I still have hope and i'm looking forward to get the new DLC. I invested 40 bucks to get Fusion and the content for a year. I think its a great value. If you do party hard your 40 bucks are gone in some hours, and you can not even remember under some circumstances.
hi eno
i peronaly like the changes, the challenges add a fun distraction for a a few minutes/hours on a track
i already like the new tourneys more and they can still improve alot
a new mp will be fun too and i'm happy to wait on it if it would mean it will be more fun
not sure yet about tc maybe the youtube style works when you add all the changes that are planned to it, the crossplatform and custom feeds are already a nice addition
i'm open for any changes to tournaments and tc tourneys sound great
now about price of new dlc i have nothing good to say
evo's/hd's dlc was indeed a steal
but if we compare what we got now compared to before its like we don't get anything anymore
in evo we got
+-35 tracks (+-20 core trials tracks)
a new world
a new bike
a bunch of editor objects
now we only get
+-10 tracks(+-6 core trials tracks with some challenges for them)
a bunch of editor objects
now the new world isn't a big deal for me to loose, it only made load times longer and well its not like tc used alot of it as a crucial part in its track design/building
the bike was nice, do we really need a new bike with each dlc, not really
but the ammount of core tracks is really a punch in the face and no ammount of challenges can change that , a single sp track can give days of playtime while the challenges only give an extra hour or so on a track
even if the dlc would have double the ammount of tracks the change would still have stung
we appreciate your comments alot

There is one simple reason: We can't do everything at the same time, so we prioritize and we think the new one will be more interesting and bring more fun than the old one. So we start with the new one but it's not because something is not here that it will never come. Of course, no promise it will ever come. That will depend on community feedback and cost/value and what other opportunities appear.
As Antti announce the Teams feature pack being the next one, I can say what we're working on now (this doesn't indicate priority order, it's random from my brain):
- Finalizing the next patch with some fixes and one good improvement requested on the forum (not one of yours sadly, but still something coming from the forums. Release notes to come near the patch date)
- Finalizing DLC1 Riders of the Rustlands (I played it, I totally love it!)
- Finalizing DLC2 Empire of the Sky (I haven't played it yet!)
- Working on the next DLC (they are in different phases of production but we already started)
- We're implementing the Team features. I can't give details on the design, but it's a feature that was on one of the previous Trials and that was appreciated, so we wanted to bring it back and as usual, a first version will come but we'll keep improving it with the feedback from community.
- We're improving tournaments.
- We're improving Track Central.
- We're working on the new multiplayer!
All of that have to come in the first year (so before April 2015) with regular updates.
That's what is in development. Then there are all the live things (that doesn't rely on update of the client, just changing settings server side etc...):
- We're working on cross sharing tracks between platforms (weekly!)
- We're improving the live tournaments according to the feedback on the forum (done on PC, coming on consoles)
Edit: - We're fixing leaderboards. Yes, we know it's far too long.
So there will be some people who will quickly say: JUST FOCUS ON MP AND FORGET THE REST STUPID DEVS!
Well actually, we would like. But we can't put dozens of people on the same feature. It's not because you add people to develop something that it goes quicker. That would be too easy. Most of the time, adding people just helps to do more things at the same time. (in project management, there is this saying: You can't do a baby in 1 month with 9 women)
I hope this gives visibility and helps
Regards,
Absolutely, as I said, clear (and respectful) communication between devs and fans (in both directions) is key. Thank you again for the time you have takenOriginally Posted by En0- Go to original post![]()
You're welcomeOriginally Posted by morrillo Go to original postThank you for your posts, respectful and constructive. Highly appreciated.
Edit: @sparkierjonesz: thanks for your post also, I understand your point of view.
I didn't mean your post particularly. Don't get me wrong, when I say that RedLynx wanted to open the game to a larger audience, I think it's a very good thing but it shouldn't be done to the detriment of the core fan base. Yes the challenges are not casual, some of them are really tough. I like challenges like Pipe Phobia or Top Roach because there is difficulty, and they are rewarding. By "casual" I meant challenges like playing tennis against a penguin for example, these challenges are not my cup of tea. I think that the overall difficulty of the game has been lowered on Fusion. As a comparison:Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
It took me like 3 hours to get all the platinum medals on Trials Fusion. On Trials HD it took me sometimes several hours of practice to get a single platinum medal. And I didn't have less experience when I played HD, because I got the last platinum medals I was missing on May 2014. So yeah I've been disappointed by the lack of difficulty on Fusion compared to the older Trials.
That sounds really good, like most of the features that have been announced actually (and disappointed me when they have been released) so I'm really sorry but I can't be excited about that for now. I'll see when it will be implemented into the game, then maybe I'll have more interest to play the tournaments. I prefer concrete actions.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
Yes if you ever want to contact me, you know where to find me. I'll be happy to try to help making the game better. I'm sorry if I am too harsh or if I exaggerate some things, but that just shows my disappointment.Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I can understand that we were spoilt with DLC in Evo - but I'm still disappointed by the amount of content in this DLC even if I didn't compare it to previous Trials. With that aside, I'm actually curious about the 'dozens' (as stated) of new editor objects and whether this figure/information can be narrowed down a little more. Is this still over 100 objects but just not over 200 (so it can't be stated as hundreds) - or is it 24 new objects (which is still dozens)? Nearly 200 new objects would be awesome - definitely wouldn't complain about that, particularly if they were mainly wood. :P
Also, apologies if I have come across disrespectful (towards the devs), it was not my intention to do so... I'm just voicing my opinion.

Can't we just conclude you're just a much better rider and the difficulty is the same?
Cheers,
New tracks built with DLC pieces won't be seen by a lot of people if TC isn't fixed asap.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
And yeah, the 1st DLC came out 6 months after the game release. THAT was good. You took your time to make it, and that's why it was perfect. We had a lot of new awesome features like a new bike, new rider customisation and plenty of tracks. Now we have one of the most poorly made DLCs I've ever seen. 10 tracks including 4 tracks (2 SX + 1 skill game + 1 FMX) that almost nobody will play, and new editor pieces. No new bikes. No new stuff for our rider. On top of that, we still haven't online multiplayer and we know the next DLC will have 9 tracks.... For the same price as Evo DLC's. I really don't understand this s***.
I know I'm swearing, I know it's against the rules but I want to say clearly what I think.
