So I missed the Live Stream; were you three the winners? (I get some gems too as the thread/idea originator. . .I have a costly helmet or two in mind for that....)

lespiritdelescal was one of the guys drawn randomly. Olesky911 got some gems for his series of rider sitting around, and I got some for "Fire in the Hole".

I don't know what to use mine for really. Might save some for when the new tracks come out.

What I was told by private message (and when it occurred I did it and it worked):

"I'll have them credit the gems to you. Once they've done it the game will prompt you to update your progress from the server. Be sure to accept the server save game, if you deny it your local progress will overwrite the server save and you'll lose your new gems."

Yeah, I'm still waiting for mine too. Definitely haven't had an "update from server message" yet. Just the usual, "which game do you want to use?"

Thats the kind of message he is talking about; choosing local game versus server game. You need to choose server once they have added the gems.

This was pretty scary for me too, since I use Ipad/Iphone both, and so I get those messages all the time. Once I heard it was coming, I stopped using the iphone side, and always accepted from the server until those gems arrived.

I also focussed on minor stuff (part grinding) and left the game often to try and keep the server side updated, so that if the message occurred I wouldnt have much chance of losing anything really important. As it turns out, it arrived for me first thing in the morning, so there really wasnt much doubt what to do.

How often do you get the messages to either keep from local or the server? Seems like I get them every few days, but I've always picked local just because I don't know if my latest runs (and items won) got synced...
