    Here's another one

It's true that some of these posts may be trolls but I think a lot of people are genuinely disappointed. I know I am! Trials is the only game I play and I think it's one of those games that people love or hate.. and the people that love it are fairly passionate.

The lack of multiplayer has basically made me stop playing Fusion and I'm back to Evolution. I maybe don't have the patience but I found playing tracks over and over again in single player really tedious... but I found multiplayer to be a great way of practising for single player. So you might class me as a troll but I have to agree that redlynx has dropped the ball by not having multiplayer. I think most people will have moved back to evolution (i have) or will just move on to other games if its not included soon..

I have certainly noticed more than a few regular streamers playing Evo this past week or more. I really don't think the tournaments have been quite the injection many were hoping for.

I haven't played Fusion for several weeks now. I haven't downloaded the latest patch and therefore haven't tried the new tournaments. I used to love the tournaments in HD and Evo but this new format just doesn't make me want to try it at all. Especially since there seems to be only two tournaments on continual repeat and nothing worth trying to improve on them for. I went back to Evo last week and it's the most fun I've had playing Trials since April 15th.

Evo's TC has thousands of tracks that I haven't played yet and I can actually play them because I don't have to spend my time trying to continually connect to the Ucan'tPlay servers. And the multiplayer is still good fun and I haven't been unable to find a game yet when I've had a few goes.

Until Fusion offers me more than Evo why would I want to play it instead?

I think there is a lot to be said for wanting to move things forward, BUT change for the sake of change is also not always a good idea. From a personal point of view, I would have tried to keep old formats/ideas and add in new ones as an addition not replacement, keeping everyone happy maybe? Tough to say obviously, but I do know that seeing Evo streams makes me sad: miss the old builders who never made it over, miss the Evo game itself, miss the top riders on the LBs who stopped playing also. Some MP and some DLC tracks/editor objects, TC changes would help considerably I feel.
    We will see.

Yeah when the tournaments were announced I was hoping there was going to be a multiplayer element to it... you would wait in a lobby, get matched up with 4 players or so, then start the tournament. That might of tempted me away from EVO.

Be prepared for a long wait! After feature pack 1 was released, I asked Shifty if online MP would be included in feature pack 2. He said something along the lines of we know it's important, we're working on, but the devs want to release something else before online MP. So online MP isn't going be in feature pack 2 either.

On a sight side note, Gran Turismo 6 advertises a course maker feature on the retail box... 6 months since release, and it's STILL not included! I don't get how devs can advertise something on the box when it isn't included.

GT6 is a terrible GT IMO mate [don't get me wrong, I loved 5, when using a wheel, never played it with a pad]

everything good is missing [from single player mode anyway] endurance races only in MP lobbies, almost every race starts with a rolling start, licenses are waaaay too easy...the way traction control works is terrible [played on a mates game who uses it and it refuses to give you any power, then gives you everything at the worst possible time]

it's just boring, like fusion is right now....so I'm done playing trials for a while, gold edition tends to run like **** and has a lot less tracks [most of which I'd overplayed back in the day] and I just cant be bothered to turn on xbox these days...takes that sodding long to load the fecking dashboard since it became advert central whats the ****ing point...I could code a game faster than that piece of crap loads up [and that requires me learning how to code first] assuming it lets me sign in at all, security measures my arse Microsoft

bah, I'm going to find something vaguely interesting to play before things get broken

MP will be after at least one more update, and NOT next, yes.
My concern would be what sort of volume of players will still be around by then.
Many are growing impatient, and many have stopped streaming Fusion now that the new tournaments are repeating too much and have lost their attraction.
I certainly don't remember people drifting away from Evo after 2 months, and hope that we get online MP, new DLC, editor objects and TC changes real soon...

This thread may be pointless, but the OP is right.
I still don't think it's in as high demand as it appears on the forums, but I think I might be coming around to this side. Earlier, I couldn't care less about multiplayer, but I actually went back and did a round of multiplayer on Evo, and I had fun. Only one player joined, but unlike many previous attempts, at least I got someone.

Since it was announced multiplayer wouldn't be available right away, I was always, "well, I don't care, but I hope it comes soon enough to satisfy the folks that really want it." I still stand by that, but I actually sort of want it a little more now. I don't think I'll use it much, but now I know I will at least some.

I get the disappointment and impatience. I will not act self-entitled and impatient, but I will try to refrain from criticizing those that do, because I'm starting to get it. So, sorry for my many prior posts subtly (or not) lashing out at those making demands.
