    Creating a backwards track!

Hey all, I need some guidance on how to create a backwards track, this is for Evo, but if it works out then I may do one on Fusion, not like it'll stay there for long but anyways.

I need to know how to turn the rider around at the very start, I've used object position events before, but it gets complicated and I feel as if It's a simple solution. I'll only be using 1 cp since It's less complicated.

    What I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZo7PywF1Tg

You could just rotate the main camera to achieve the same effect, no?

I fiddled around with it a little bit and rotating the camera puts it into a mirror effect view....hmmmm, thanks for the suggestion though. sub studio02 did a backwards track, I wish I could ask him, but he's Japanese :s

Why do u want to create a backwards track? Most people hate 2 things:

    1: backwards track
    2: Weird cam angles

so better think twice before waisting time on a track hardly anyone would finish.

So you want him to roll down the track, but in reverse? You can use 2 directional forces glued together, then attach to the bike with a point-point joint. Have each checkpoint activate these forces long enough to twist the bike around.

@ Shifty: If he rotates only the camera, he can only use 1 checkpoint because the first cp will always be the start.. unless each cp resets you to one later down the line but that much code, may as well twist the bike and reverse the controls.

Oh sorry guys you got the wrong idea, I meant like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZo7PywF1Tg

I think you guys were thinking that I want the rider to feel as if he's backwards, but nah, thanks for the input though.

I can make an easy tuto on video if you want, but It will be ok for the tracks WITHOUT ANY CP, if you want to pu some CP, it's more complicated

    For a track like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0rf...T5dlbi&index=7

Is this what you want cam ?

I think I know how you can make stuff like that.

    - Place your 2 checkpoints. The 1st checkpoint musn't be at the beginning of the riding line, but a little further (Depending on the length of your track). 2nd checkpoint's place doesn't really matter.
    - Build your backwards track from the 1st checkpoint to the beginning of the riding line
    - Put this code on the finish line : Zone trigger -> Finish race and you're donez.

I'm gonna build this on the editor and tell you if it works.
