Hello all,
We have started the process of cleaning up the Trials Fusion leaderboards and we wanted to share the details with you;
If you didn’t use an exploit to assist you in setting your times, then you don’t need to worry about being penalized by losing your scores. There is a lot of manual work involved in this, and the process will not be instant as it takes some time to check a large number of scores and identify the exploits, a process that must be repeated on each platform. With this information we can begin removing times from the leaderboard. The leaderboards are important to us, so we have tasked one of the members from the dev team to work on this as a full-time assignment. We are taking this one platform at a time and have already started on the first, but leaderboards on all platforms will be cleaned. We plan on removing enough runs to have the Top 20 for each event, on each platform, clear of exploits. Thank you for your patience.
Nobody deserved to have their run accidentally deleted more than Max.Originally Posted by NSPIV Go to original post
I think we can all agree that it couldn't have happened to a better person.
Would it be possible to ask to get my name on the list of runs to be scrutinized, if this is done semi-manually? When I watched top replays with the coffin trick, my first reaction was that I embarrasingly had missed out on a key part of speedrunning. I did not understand that it was a non-intended exploit until I had completed a few tracks with the trick and would prefer to have a clean score.
