It was nice to play this track once through. Nothing really special in this track though - basic environment, simple animations, couple cool "tricks" but still kudos to creator for an effort.

Mark (the author) has been a great hype man for Trials and he loves the franchise. I've been able to spread the Trials message down under for years because of that guy letting me post stories to the site so we shouldn't hate too much. I enjoyed the track and made a video about it. Agree with some of the criticism about the driving line but this community shouldn't be too negative about this article. Think about what it did, it took the editor of one of the largest blogs in AUS to post an article singing the praises of the franchise we are so passionate about. It also, most importantly reminded people that the game is more than just the in game tracks, it encouraged others to dig into track central and enjoy what the rest of us enjoy and some of us make. These types of stories benefit the whole community and get more people involved.
I'm not going to change any opinions here but don't let that negativity consume you. I'm trying to feature more and more customs on my channel and plenty of others are also. Track Central is a great feature of the game and if this article got more people to click that option then we should be happy.
PS. Cheer up everyone![]()
Cool track...
9/10 on scenery
3/10 for driving line....no clue why the rocks have ridges on them, they're just little stairs making it an unnecessary annoyance
Conclusion: This track is definitely not the best track, but It's a good addition for the casual players to notice the unusual difference in this game compared to other games and thus, spark their interest into wanting to play it. Although the author of the article didn't really specify this, and if he played the game then he would know that. The fun in trials is discovering the technicality of a track, be it ninja or normal difficulty tracks, not purely the aesthetic glow of it (unless it was intended for that), but hopefully those who hear about trials from this article can find out on their own.
So what you are saying is that we should not be happy to get a major website saying that Trials has created the best thing ever. Really? Don't we want people to check out trials? Track Central? We (as in people with an unhealthy addiction to trials) need casuals to join our addiction, buy the game, make redlynx money, because if they don't, there won't be a redlynx, and there won't be trials. As the truly addicted, we play this game a lot, and see lots of awesomeness (and a fair bit of crap), but the general gamer doesn't. We need publicity like this. We are not all awesome players who long for ninja runs and top 10 times (well, I may wish for that, but it ain't happening), and we want things that make us smile...... like the cave..... that I can't play yet because I am on XB1..... hurry up uplay recommends..![]()
Let's just hope Track central stops having server issues, or else there will be another influx of people posting on here that the servers are broke....again!!
I wonder if they'll ever cross platform The Cave. I suspect the complexity is a little too much for the previous gen of consoles. Unless they do some wizardry on it.
Server issues seem to only be on 360 right now, hopefully that is sorted soon. Also, there are so many great creations well ahead of the cave for porting imo, I wish they would port the RL picks as standard each time too.Originally Posted by geordiedeviant Go to original post
I played Trials last night on the 360 and was in Track Central for a couple of hours and didn't have any server issues whatsoever - it was fantastic ... but then again I was playing Evo.Originally Posted by morrillo Go to original post

I really liked the look of the track! Perhaps the line is mediocre to allow the user to pay more attention to the scenery, which probably took a lot of time. It's very impressive.
As for the dolphin though, I felt the body was too curved for the arc it followed. Looked really stiff, like it was a sign or pool toy![]()
