    Yes thats correct

If you wait a while it seems the system logs you out, however going through the link to register again for the closed beta, you still end up back at that migrating blank page

Today I get a reply which I was kind of expecting and waiitng for telling me to do the usual "clear cookies, history, cache" etc and try again,

Well DUH, I mean seriously, given I am not the only person with this problem, clearly its nothing to do with my internet browsers. Personally I think it has to do with people with "old" accounts or accounts over a certain age as we always get redirected to this "migrating account" link after login to register for the Beta, however I do know other people that have registered for the Beta with no problem

First I get told its being investigated by the development team , next I'm basically told its my issue and I should clear my cache, cookies, history and try again, .. beginning to wonder if anyone actually knows anything?

I still get the same error but now I have a patterned page instead of blank white one. Must be the "next gen" upgraded webpage :P

To me, It sounds as if they are trying to make it Settlers 8 and a browser game at the same time. I am in the minority anyway, being as I loved Settlers 7 but was not such a fan of the other Settlers I tried (6 and 2 - 10th anniversary).

Still, I will give it a try.

My first thoughts were its Settlers versus WoW,only time will tell

I disliked them all after s4,it moved too far away from the Settlers roots..I cant see it been a browser game, looks way too complex, and alot of information for that.

Oh man what have they done. It looks worse then I thought. Its some fantasy MMO not Settlers. The city cant be attacked all??? Some wizard shooting fireballs. Having to trade with others online. I dont care about the beta sign up problems now, forget this!

Well at least I could register for the beta now. I just got a "Thank you for registering" message when I tried. I'm curious what it really is, but I won't know what it's about until I try.
For me, Settlers was all about making a living, breathing society - making use of the lands and "connect the dots" to make the different industries thrive and function well.

As mentioned by others, if it is what it looks like - a "hero on a quest MMO" I'm not buying. Period.
