Guys some interesting news on the beta here.

"The German Closed Beta will start on August 20, 2014 and the international English Closed Beta will begin on September 16, 2014."

Does that mean that we cant register to the beta in august? Or is it just a technical issue which will be solved, hopefully this week? I dont really want to loose this chance because of technical issues. Is English closed beta limited to some countries?

Oh nooooooo.

My email says: The Closed Beta of the online PC game "The Settlers^® – Kingdoms of Anteria" will be starting soon.

If that means what I think it means, I am disappointed and I think I am not interested in the beta.

And perhaps the German beta takes place in Ubisoft gameslabs so unless you live in Germany it is too far to go.

I am new at moderating so I will leave all the other moderator questions to pennyuk. I know nothing.

Most games use various methods of testing

Inhouse which means its only tested within the company itself

Closed This is invited players only

Open After a game has been played on closed beta,its then opened up to pretty much anyone

No idea how BB will run this one

Yes, exactly the same issue.
If I go to http://www.thesettlers.com/ it redirects to http://www.thesettlers.com/en-GB/migrate-your-account and gives a blank page.

I have reported it via support ticket, they say the dev team working on it, no ETA ?

Pretty much most people LukysBeng,although it has worked for some people

I forwarded my email to be sent to the team but no eta on when it will be fixed
