I'm pretty sure you could have just sent him a message about that track. What exactly does random guy's track have to do with my custom track thread?Originally Posted by Breity-one Go to original post
I'm gonna' crawl out on a limb and guess... nothing.
If you have a track thread then keep that in your thread.
This thread was clearly made for people to complain about my tracks and argue about my grasp of the idea of time travel.
So, unless you have a theory on either... kindly sod off.
No prob D2. It didn't begin as intentionally crazy... it was going to be a short fun run like my baggie track... and for some reason it just got more and more out of control.Originally Posted by D2Dahaka Go to original post
I don't know what happened. I kept getting more and more bad ideas and I just ran with them. haha
I actually played that track and can offer some suggestions to the builder.Originally Posted by Breity-one Go to original post
Ok, there are points in the track where the frame-rate drops to practically 0. Seriously, it was slow-mo for parts of the track. To fix that, go into the editor, click on the bike, hit "UP" on the D-pad for properties, scroll down and put the "headlight intensity" to 0. Also, avoid so many point lights/stadium lights and just avoid lights in general.
If anything just make the walls EXTRA HIGH and leave the roof open. Use natural light A.K.A the sun to light the track. I would say to leave an entire wall open but the track does "snake" around a bit so that probably isn't an option.
The problem with that track is entirely lighting related. There are parts where you get that "blocky" effect because of the lighting and there are parts where you get that "SLOW-MO" effect for the same reason.
I would have loved that track if not for having some obstacles be soooo much harder than they should have been simply because of the frame-rate drop/ slow down.
New track called "Demo track, why not..."
I just noticed that "Good Evening, sir!" has a point where you can see the traffic respawn. It is only visible if you are in the right place for a second but it is visible. I figure this wouldn't have happened if I could have had folks test the track. So, I figure, why not release a demo of my new track and see if anything is visibly wrong with the first half. Seriously, if you notice anything I want to know! Objects that aren't lined up well that have that flickering effect... obstacles that seem much harder than other obstacles in a way that the track seems unbalanced. Let me know about ANYTHING! Please?
Whatever works mate, was still a very good track. Will check out your next for sureOriginally Posted by NicholasBBB Go to original post![]()
New Extreme track called "Boulder City". Last time I do anything like this. I got sick of this track when I released the demo. I know it looks nice but I have no patience for tracks this detailed.
Enjoy it if you like it.
From this point you can find me building ridiculous obstacle tracks. Yeah.. BUT I love them![]()
We'll forgive you so long as you're kind with checkpointsOriginally Posted by NicholasBBB Go to original post![]()
