Layers?
Hi. Ive noticed the Layers option on the Trials fusion editor. I know generally what this relates to in terms of design. But i cant figure for the life of me what difference it makes which layers things are on! Does it help in preventing lag, number of objects in an area, etc. Im very confused. Sorry if someone has already covered this.
Thanks

layers basicly do the same thing as in any graphical editing program
they just make it a bit easier to place and select the things you want and don't want
for example you can set everything from the driveline in a layer, freeze it and now you can't accidently select and move pieces while working on the background

Layers are nice to seperate certain parts/aspects of a track, as working on details inside a small area for example can prevent you from selecting/seeing certain things. You can either make things hidden, or lock them.
It's a nice addition, however at least for PC I can confirm that when I use Undo (either via X on controller, or mouse interface or keyboard shortcut) all layers become visible again, so I hope that can be fixed at some point.

Speaking of layers, can someone explain to me what the different options in the layers menu do? I know the first one is visibility and the second one is to lock it from selection, but what do the other two do?
