Hello all,
This thread is not a place to name players you suspect of cheating or hacking. Rather it is a place to post scores and times that are inaccurate. What is the difference? One way accuses others of cheating (which goes against the "No Naming & Shaming" rule) while the second is just reporting times or scores that are incorrect for whatever reason.
The thread title has been changed to reflect this. Please continue to notify us of inaccurate scores and times.
Don't you think that rule needs to be revised, or an exception needs to be made in this instance? The cheated runs, like in any Trials game, are clear. This rule seems counter-productive, and only makes the already tedious job of keeping hackers off the leaderboards even more complicated.Originally Posted by RoguishRonin Go to original post
if this is really going to be a thread for inaccuracies it might as well not be a sticky since they are very very very rarely pointed out. there are too many hackers to even notice mistakes.
Hacked runs ARE scoring & time inaccuracies, but saying "Bobby's score on this track is inaccurate" is a little different than saying "Bobby cheated on this track".
The results are the same.
is there anyway you guys could just look at the android track leaderboards yourselves and remove the obvious hacked times rather than have us, the consumers, do it for you?
I guess there is a point to the renaming (still seems excessively "politically correct" to me).But we DO also have cases where peoples scores were glitched by the game and they were given a few million more than supposed to. . . I dont dont beleive they were hackers. And there are plenty of people who believe they were cheated out of various additions to leaderboard scores due to program hangs, etc......
Whats really needed isnt us pointing these things out though... what we NEED is a regular automated sweep of the top 500 or so (globally and track LBs) that confirms the points versus the time.... and points out obvious mistakes that you usually see in hacked scores so that RL can go look at them without our intervention.
You cant have any real competeitive integrity in the game if RL doesnt actively (and proactively) enforce a valid LB, and detect bad scoring, IMO
OR that sort of little excel spreadsheet similar to the one they have available for Fusion, i would LOVE that. hey ubi/RL, can you make it an IAP please? one whale I know would like to have one...Originally Posted by xitooner Go to original post![]()

LOL, which is the top legit score, that of machestercid's i assume?
speaking of platform comparisons, that would be a top4 score on iOS
even if redlynx wanted to be difficult and say they couldnt be sure the time of 0:13.725 was accurate are you really telling me you need US to confirm at minimum the top 8 scores are not valid?
can you understand what this makes some of us very annoyed?
