Loving the tournaments and looking forward to more but surely there is a better way of restarting? Currently one must pause, exit tournament, then navigate to the desired tournament as it defaults to the first in the list, then select bike for first track and wallah. This was a annoying issue in Evo that was mentioned many times. Now I'm not a demanding guy but could RL confirm whether this is something that is a consideration. Obviously get MP and some DLC out before solving this problem

I hate that aspect of playing tournaments (particularly when going for 0 faults). I'd love the back/select button to take you back to the beginning of the first track and have suggested it many many times. It was once posed by one of the devs that this would not be a good idea as you could slip and press it accidentally which would be good if you are on a good run, but I've done this probably 5 times (across all trials games). I'm sick of needing to go through various menus to get back to the start of the tournament.
Really hoped this would have been fixed..

Well that Dev who said that is a bit of a vegetable lol. End of the day if you're on a run and you press the back button now it restarts you to the start of the track you're currently on. In every aspect that is worse. They should either make it so pressing back button takes you to the start of the whole tournament OR make it so that the back button has no use at all. Restarting the current track is so pointless it hurts to even type it.

If you're on the second plus track and fault, you'll just restart from the last checkpoint, you would never restart the whole track! It's just lazy development! Would have taken time and money to write a new code for the back button for tournaments so they just didn't bother!
But please, at least add a restart tournament option to the pause menu instead of having to back out and start again, I mean it can't be that hard to do!

They could add the option in that if you press Select to restart the tournament, it should give you a warning "You're going to restart the track" Yes? No? then another warning "Are you sure?" Yes? No? Then the devs can't make up an excuse that people would "accidentally" restart the track.
I wouldn't get your hopes up though, this has been asked for years since HD has been out and the devs still ignore it.
